is this light burn/heat stress or some kind of deficiency?

The leaves near the top of my plant are starting to show yellow edges and tips, some of them are also curling upwards, is this from light burn/heat stress or is it something else, its being grown under cfls by the way which are about one to two inches away from the plant. Any help is much appreciated, sorry for the bad quality pics. Don't have a camera at the moment.WP_20171014_19_27_38_Pro.jpg WP_20171014_19_27_43_Pro.jpg WP_20171014_19_27_52_Pro.jpg

I'm not a CFL guy but suspect they are too close. Leaf edges up is a strong indicator of too much heat or light stress. Good luck!

Good practice I use is to hold the back of your hand the distance away from the plants for 10-15 seconds. If it's uncomfortable for you the it's uncomfortable for your plants.

I keep my 250w about 5 inches away :)

I have CFL's on my mother and they are as close as a centimeter at times and i've never seen this before. I have good airflow tho. If it's a sealed environment CFL's will heat it up given enough time.

I agree, there's no way that a few cfl's are doing that. I'm not sure what specific deficiency might cause that but I'd check the ph of your water and soil.
