is this normal??

My plant sprouted about a week and half ago, the stem is really skinny (1/4in ) and long, and there is two 2in leafs (fan leafs I guess) leaning to the side. Is the stem to weak to hold the leaves up?? It loooks healthy but it is leaning.

No its not normal. This indicates a problem. What type of light are you using? How far away are your plants?

ya you need to get that light closer, and mabey think about geting a safety pin, and holding it up for a week or two till it gets stronger. you might want to think about a better light as well, if its realy skinny, then its not growing healthy like it should.

take a regular plastic straw, cut it to length of stem, just below first set of leaves, just slightly longer. slit the straw all the way from top to bottom.fold it back so it`s open, then place around the stem, slightly pushing down into the medium to hold it. it wont hurt your plant and will expand with the stem, it worked for me many times when my plants started to stretch
