I live in Texas and was wondering if its too late to grow some autos before winter . I heard only ruderalis is made for that situation before winter in Russia kills them off . I have a ruderalis skunk and ruderalis indica . Along with many other dwarfs please I don't want them to die or not grow due to weather killing it

Any idea how many days your hybrid takes? I'm growing autos and they are behaving exactly like the grower said.

hey dag.

Seems you don't like autoflower. I'm growing them this year as an experiment. Seems to be an answer to a lot of issues I have with photoperiod strains but have not taken a grow through cure and smoke test. Care to share any knowledge?

Mine -- first grow of autos -- are going to be ready about a month to six weeks later than the advertised 60 days advertised. Mine seem to be coming in at about 90 days from my start date. Starting on Aug 15 would make Middle October-end of Oct at earliest for you. Seems like you are pushing the window for a start date. Depends on your local weather and growing skills. You would be pushing it, is all I can say.

yes, some autos take a little longer. If there medium size autoflowers. How'd you get your seeds from a breeder? I got mine from herbies I want to breed all my seeds I can . I also got a strain called micron going indoors right now . I have some great dwarfs like guerrilla ryder, lemon haze , bubble crack a green crack dwarf is extremely rare man because green crack is a bitch to find in regular seed form

No, I'm following you because of your insanely homophobic and generally hateful jesus rhetoric. I shit on your threads with my generally hateful satan rhetoric (totes put on -- there is no satan, of course) the same way you shit on others with your fake jesus nonsense. Tit for tat. Quit whining abut it.

I'm limited to growing indoors and so far, I've grown only autos. I'm intimidated by the idea of growing photos ("you mean I will have complete control of their lifecycle? That doesn't sound like a good idea. Have you met me?"). So, I'm really glad autos exist.

I grow for personal use only have finally made it through the progression many of us make, apparently. I now have the setup I need (and should have started with) to get enough product into the vault that I could start taking some chances with a crop and not worry too much about losing it. I plan on trying photos soon, but mostly because I want to try manifolding and other techniques not generally recommended for autos.

I'm completely satisfied with the potency of the autos. I've never had one ripen in under 70 days, though. 10 -- 14 days longer than what the breeder says seems to be the norm for me. I do have a Sour Crack plant now nearing finish, that will finish up at 60 days most likely.

I don't have any experience growing outdoors (and I've only grown in coco so far). Are you growing outdoors?

Here's a Shortstuff #1 I'll be harvesting soon (probably at 80 days old):

I've only had two grows. My first, last year, was photo strain called Mastodon from Oregon Green Seeds. I'm a lightweight and pretty much done after one hit. So, don't need much. My Oregon legal four was good but I had to harvest a couple of weeks early due to early onset of continuous rains last year end of Sept. It's strong but doesn't have the indica stone I like. But still smokes and tastes great with a good daytime high. Not good to smoke if I want to go to sleep soon. Anyway, an ounce will last me about a year and I harvested six pounds from my four plants or about 60 years worth. Given that I have all the daytime stash I can use as well as happy friends who I was able to gift, I figured I'd try a high CBD strain this year. I don't have a good camera, so here's a pic of my grow and apologies up front for the poor quality:

This was taken about 10 days ago.. The cola on the left is MED GOM 1.0 from Southern Oregon Seeds and the one on the right is AK47 freebies they tossed in with my order of the high cbd seed. Both are autos that I started germinating on May 19. All are fem

This is a wider angle view. Four plants. the ones on the ends are Auto fem AK47 and the ones in the middle are MED GOM. The MED smells really nice spicey-pine The AK one on the far left is about five feet tall. The others are between 3-4 feet tall. Last I looked, still clear and a few cloudy trichs, no amber ones. The hairs were mostly white with a few brown ones. Any thoughts on how you judge harvest date?

So, I'm no experienced grower or connoisseur. I've learned to take advertised flower times as a minimum and autos seem to meet my needs and are easy to grow. I grow mine in my 20 year old no till organic garden bed and am happy with being able to smoke my own.

It's a dog but no matter. I have my own sense of humor. Glad you like it. Some don't but that's part of the fun.

Sorry to hear you are a gay basher. I wish we would grow out of that archaic mindset. Its the bigots that put the bad name to religion. In the US we are plagued with the Christian kind. I hope you can grow out of your bias. I did. Everybody needs love. And the idea of denying somebody the chance to find peace with the love of their life is repugnant to me.

Good luck with your grow. Sounds like you have big plans. 14 different varieties is to me a mind boggling operation. I've only ever grown from seeds and four plants each time.. The autos this year are fem and so will not get any through natural pollination.

That is hilarious! An ounce lasts me alone two weeks, three tops. Your growth could definitely support my habit (and then some) and mine would still be too much for you! Sounds like we should swap. LOL.

If you get the chance to grow outdoors, you'll see what I mean. I had no experience trimming and I spent almost a month trimming. It was an operation. Beginners luck. It all came together nicely with no signs of mold although a little, maybe 5% lost to bud rot. And like I said, very happy friends too.

So, because I'm not Christian and because I'd treat everybody equally, I have to leave the US.

Christian bigots. uggh. The founding fathers knew of your kind when they founded a country with separation of church and state. Fortunately the constitution protects my freedom from your zealous desire to ban free thinkers.

I'm actually sorry I started this now. Weedhead -- if you decide to try to get a run in, I wish you nothing but luck. I hope it works out if you go for it. I'm not even kidding. I'll leave the childish satan baiting nonsense behind. If you don't bring it up, I won't. Good luck!

I missed the pics the first time somehow. That MED GOM cola especially looks like a freakin' pineapple! Gorgeous plants! Looks like you have a nice little slice of paradise to grow in and a natural hand at it (or more likely with you, I'd guess, a very well studied hand).

Next round, think you'll stick with autos?

Nailed it.

weedhead is a cafeteria Christian.
LOL! I was just trying to get him back on a topic we can all agree on!

I so fcked this thread up. As an atonement, I shall submit to a round of bong water boarding. Weedhead can be perfectly rational and, dare I say, helpful even? I've witnessed it. He was in that mode here before I stuck my nose in it. I totally trolled the situation. It's on me.
