I'd say MR new prime minister is taking his sweet time for the following reasons.

Don't kid yourself. I smell a "pull out all stops" effort on it's way. And I don't doubt JT isn't behind it or knows whats up with the rcmp busting these places lately. This is why no legalization plan yet...kill all the store fronts..put in your own

And the selfish patients who jump aboard the schwaggon train have help foster this attitude and the greed that goes with it. Shame on you short sighted @#$%'s !..IT made all the greed bags just want and think.... we need more ..more...hahaha MORE "

Boycotting RIGHT NOW is the only answer guys/gals..see..think....This should thrill the Diz.

I don't trust this dude yet. IMO...he's gonna want it all to the Governments coffers. All for the sake of the children...blah blah blah....revenue is the key to his greed too.
I hope I'm wrong...praying I'm wrong...but not feeling like I am.

I'm getting nervous. RCMP closing the grey market, trying to force patients to buy into the LP monopoly.

Now is absolutely the most important time in the fight. We need as many patients to stay away from that LP shwag. We need to send the message that we will not be forced into their version of accessibility.

This has nothing to do with Ottawa or the Libs, imo. If this was a federal move, they would not be concentrating on small town, BC. This is an action by rcmp working as municipal and provincial police doing the will of the mayors and most likely the corrupt premier Krusty Clark. If there had been an order issued by Ottawa to shut down the dispensaries, they would have hit high profile shops in major cities coast to coast and not Nanaimo. Toronto has stores, Ottawa has stores, Vancouver has OVER a HUNDRED stores...but they pick the hometown of Tilray? Hmmm. It also has less than nothing to do with legalization. We are already legal to possess and use as patients, our fight is about where we get it. I think people are blurring the line between med and rec far too much and too often. Legalization will be nice and it's something I've advocated for, but realistically it won't affect me or any other patient much. Unfortunately some equate Trudeau's failure to legalize rec in his first 29 days as a indication he is intent on screwing over patients. I don't see it that way and I am optimistic that we will get what we want. If something changes, so will my attitude, but I think all this anxiety over the Liberal plans, not yet established, is a tad premature. Unless the cops have solid evidence of any of these shops selling to underage kids, charges will be quietly dropped. This is nothing more than an effort to disrupt and scare off the dispensaries and protect Tilrays interests.

i wish they would get on with it though
i personally don't give a crap about rec use. if I had the pleasure of sitting back to get high again, then i will care but until then, can we please have our gardens back?....and soon

Nice to see you coming around, Hippy.

The Liberals don't support dispensaries. The Liberals support corporate cannabis. Anyone who supports the Liberals is an unwitting stooge for the New Prohibition. And of course, Vian Chris is in here offering empty and transparent apologies for his wittle justin. He's as brainwashed as a typical Harper supporter.

Chris, at what point will you admit Justin is Baby Harper? When he starts forcing you to buy from a government store? Or will you defend him even then?

The brilliant plan by the Liberals is by saying they support legalization, they know all the stupid little sheeple will offer excuses for them for months, maybe even years, as they drag their feet and let the RCMP do their dirty work as they lay the foundation for their new corporate 'legal' weed market.

I do think there is a link to tilray and other lps who at this point are likely strongly lobbying
To
A) be allowed to open lp outlets to replace dispensaries
B) be the suppliers to the rec market distributed at liquor outlets

Im stuck as medically approved under the mmpr with no money so
I grow my own off my property in the woods
I would be wary of growing over five plants on my own property

Because believe me it aint fun getting raided
And getting stuck having a sit down with revenue canada
Where your guilty until proven innocent and also
Despite getting a discharge, rev canada holds onto
Your ENTIRE grow bust file that the rcmp forwards them
For fifteen years!

Ditzty, at what point will you stop worrying about what I think and concentrate on your blind hatred of Trudeau. You sound like a fucking 12 year old school girl. I don't recall there being a single discussion on medical marijuana patient growing in the first 29 days of Liberal government, but today being the day of the opening throne speech, I guess they should have solved all the problems by now. Maybe you could try something us grown ups do; don't make accusations that you can't back up. When are you going to admit that you don't have a fucking clue what is going to happen and are spewing your uninformed opinion as if it were fact. If it turns out I'm wrong, I have no problem admitting it, how about you. When we get the right to grow reinstated, are you going to apologize for being a moron? How about when legalization goes through and everyone can grow for themselves? Somehow I doubt it.

Not exactly Dizzy, but I knew you'd think that.
I don't and have never trusted any of them. BUT am willing to hope and see if JT is who he say's he wants to be. The other two didn't offer that choice or hope. Still hoping but not optimistic.
JT doing nothing about these shut downs is not helping my un-easyness.

+We have defacto decrim now, imo. I don't think you would have EVER seen legalization from Mulcair. There is already talk with the Libs, so you know it will happen sooner rather than later. I'm not sure about all the angst on here over it though, what concerns me is winning our case and getting a medical system that allows all patients to grow. That's it. The recreational weed part is just a side story to watch play out.

At this point in time I think simple possession or a small time personal grower should have nothing to worry about. I think if you are commercially growing or traficing, the laws should still be enforced, there is a criminal element behind most commercial grows and dispenserys. In the end I think the provinces will have the most say in their jurisdiction what "legalization" will look like in each different province. It's very narrow minded and Niave to think that legalization will happen overnight, the gov. Has bigger things to tackle before legalization becomes a reality. I can see provinces implementing "legalization" before the Feds do. BC for example, Vancouver has already started to regulate, and there's talk on small home grows and retail mm in gov. Liquor stores. I hope BC leads the country with legalization. Every day is one day closer to legalization.

Itsme.
