Here is part 2 of that video
I'm hunting more videos.
Here is another video that shows customs checking postal packages. They doing some serious checking on those roses lol Oh and by the way, Homeland security has been cracking down on bootleg clothes...so any type of clothing material will be checked to see if they are listed as a bootleg, lots and lots and lots of clothing has been getting seized thru international mail. So yes Shirts are a red flag.
This video should help you understand why Tshirts, clothing, etc is red flags for getting opened. DVD's are red flags also for the same reason. All the major clothing companies have made complaints to homeland security to keep any bootleg clothing from getting into the country...the MPAA has done same complaints so they check for bootleg dvds as well.
Ok this video is a real good one, it is the ISC Chicago location, it discusses how t-shirts and items that may fit the description of a "counterfeit" item will be red flaged and opened to check to see if it is a real item or a bootleged item. Hopefully this helps people understand the ISC Chicago location better and understand why certain items are opened and why certain packages will make a real long delay as they check to see if the item is real or fake.
I recently had a package from Attitude intercepted in Chicago......got a t-shirt I ordered, but had a green U.S. Customs and Border Protection 'Examine' sticker on the top of the package where it had been opened. I just paid a $152 for a shirt........damn I'm pissed I lost my beans.
It is quite stupid because they are not looking for drugs or anything...they are just opening packages and invading privacy simply for "copyright" infridgement.
It is not just USA either, this dude in I think Scotland made video about his Tshirt being taken because it was a bootleg Tshirt he had ordered from some online clothing company lol
They will bust a person over 20 bootleg tshirts, dvds, etc before busting a person for 40 seeds. I've never seen anyone get harrassed much over being found with seeds but I have seen people arrested over Tshirts and DVDs. Customs is well known for raiding entire stores over them finding just 10 bootleg tshirts in the mail ordered by the store. Believe it or not but there is more bootleg clothing being ordered online than seeds. Around the time of big sporting events is the time they will probally bring in extra workers to look just for clothing lol
Here is another video to show this
Pencils are way cheaper than what companies use for crush proof containers...you can get pencils for like 3 cents each which is way cheaper than even stuff used to ship items and way more crush proof than any of the items companies use.
To show this here is a good link to check out
"Misprinted Golf Pencils - With Eraser
144 for only $6.95 "
So clearly you can see is a way cheaper alternative.
Highlighters make for cheaper crush proof containers also and generally run 75 cents to about 3 bucks for 4-6.
I agree. It is hard to believe that this has gone on soooo long and Attitude has done nothing proactive to solve it. I do not believe adding socks to the guarantee list counts as actually trying to improve customer service. I am not the smartest guy so it took me awhile but I am about to get off the Attitude bandwagon. Definition of insanity, repeating the same process and expecting a different result. I believe I am as much at fault as Attitude. If your international mail goes thru Chicago I suggest staying away from Attitude.
Surprisingly my Tshirt Order came though fine today with beans lol, all my orders b4 with tude which was with hemp bags no success but reship should be here in next few days on that hope it comes out just as good
Finally......The Attitude made another shipment and my Souvenirs came through.......although one thing I ordered was out-of-stock, but hey, what's a guy to do?
Sorry for rezzing this thread, just figure maybe is worth keeping updated.....
I have 2 outstanding orders about 5 days apart, 1st one arrived via Chicago fine..... did take about 3 days to scan through ISC which seems to be normal as with my prior orders..... other one is ISC since the 14th at 2:32 P.M. so I assume it got tossed in bag, bag goes in bin, day ends..... other stuff gets piled in front and eventually they get to it..... in which time it will finally move on.... Thats pretty much how the timeline on order #1 went.
I'll keep eyeryone updated as I feel this is something which is good to have updates regarding. Although I do believe people should avoid the whole " my package has been in customs 4-7 or whatever days will I still get it? " type posts.... moreso factual updates so we can see if the system is just slow, maybe tracking doesn't always update, so if delays do equate to search and seize.
Have also had prior orders show entering customs then never having tracking updates again just appearing in my mailbox....... Cannot remember where all my priors came from but I have seen both Chicago and New York in the past as the ISC.
I just ordered from Attitude seed bank... Kinda on pins & needles i didnt have any other place to order to but my spot... any words of encouragement would b helpful...btw im currently in NJ...
you will be fine..... Chicago seems to be the problem and it seems like western and mid western state are the ones that go to Chicago.....
Tkns 4 the reply...
Brief update on my order..... took 6 days from the 14th to the 20th after processed through ISC Chicago.... package comes tomorrow.... we shall see if they are just slow or if I got green taped.
I heard that alot of times if a bag isn't full it will sit at customs until it is full before they are sent on to processing and sorting; so if you live in a smaller town or a place that doesn't receive much international mail this can also be a cause for the hold-up.
Update #3 package arrived today everything was all good. All in all from Chicago to here took about 8 days or 6 business days once it scanned it was in customs..... From Attitude to me it was 12-13 days.... which is a bit slower then happens on occasion but at the same time still reasonable..... I remember just like 3-4 years ago it would take as long as 20 days or more sometimes to get an order so 8-12 days is pretty reasonable to me.

This has to be the longest wait ever !!!
I find it ironic that you can't wait 2-3 weeks for something that is going to take 2-3 months to complete
14 days door to door from the Tude
I have had 5-6 orders from the tude come in with no probs. I just made an order this past weekend 3-9-14 and I believe this is the first time it has gone through Chicago...normally it goes through NY. My last order was about a year ago. I would have ordered something other than a tshirt had I read this thread first. I will say that it appears the package is moving fast the status went from arrival to depart Chi all in one day. I hope all is well. BTW I'm in Ohio.
