Ah but ya really want the citrus, trust me on that :bigjoint:
I really do want to reorder it. Plants seemed to love it in flower
I ended up going the same rout with the 16-4-17 + bloom booster.. Only been about a week or two but all the ladies seem to be enjoying it.. So for a little less than $100 (including shipping) I'm hoping to not buy any more nutes for at least a few years lol.. Thanks for the advice TY!
Always trying to help! Others have always been helpful to me :weed:

Citrus is the best. Btw RM I have a bag of aquagold finisher coming. JR peters is still not selling it directly however you can order a bag of it from martinsproduce.com 25 lbs for $30. I am thinking a mixture of aquagold and citrus in flowering will be best. I will say that 1/2 tsp of citrus every watering does create some burns down the edges of leaves and tips. (Which I don't mind because still more than 90% of the leaf is productive and healthy but some people do) I would suggest for anyone with citrus to not get any burn should run 1/4 tsp per gallon every watering.

With Jack's what matters is the amount of Calcium Carbonate in your water as this establishes water type, My water type is a 2 and I can feed 2 teaspoons of Citrus without burning em. I ordered my Aquagold directly from Jack's it may be they are waiting on the various approval of other states before it is available for them to ship directly

Fertilome 20-20-20 is what I have been using for veg:

While I have also been using their 9-59-8 product for flower. I have been disuaded from the latter from info here and a side-by-side I just did. Would of had a nice comparison shot but I had a little faux pax with a timer causing some bad heat stress while I was overseas and none if it looks great and the differences diminished. In any case...I just emailed JRPeters. You should get s commission, @RM3.

I tend to water-feed and by the time the plants are in flower I'm easily feeding them a teaspoon without burning. Although at times I'll only feed once a week and I water twice (so 3 waterings a week in total). It all depends though. Veg plants are different as they don't eat or drink as much and I obviously scale it back in feeding. I do start feeding pretty much out the gate as my medium contains so little nutrients.

Eta: no burning on my any plants. I don't like pushing the envelope. Anytime you have burnt leaves, you have also damaged the roots.

I am in 5 gallon buckets filled with promix, my plants veg for about 3 months before going to flower. Using LED lights only as you know. I use regular tap water (used to use r/o before realizing that it was just a waste of time) and feed every watering. I water until there is runoff which is about 1 gallon per plant and at 1/2 tsp per gallon am getting burnt tips. On my plants that are in veg they have been using the same regiment only with 1/4 tsp per gallon and have no burnt tips. There are a lot of factors so what one person does, won't necessarily work for another person. I.e. my medium doesn't dry out nearly as quickly under LED as it used to under HPS...only my 4th round of plants under LED lights so still learning the differences in the plants needs.

This is true. Different conditions and all. I just really have to try to burn these girls, even when I'm feeding a table spoon (which is what the scoop is if I'm not mistake, 750ppm if I recall correctly). I don't always do a full soak either.

I should add that my medium is drying out on average about every 4 days so my watering is every 4 days. Full soak which is about 1 gallon

How is your root mass? Usually I have extensive roots in one gallons before moving to 3 gallons. By the time these are harvested, most vigorous strains have completely taken over the pot, in a good way. Makes the ladies very thirsty but my medium is pretty porous, so that may play a role to be honest.

Does promix contain any nutrients? I've never used it. Just surprised you would get burn with that low of a dose.

Root mass is always huge and thick very white roots. I also start in 1 gallon pots before transplanting to 5 gal. I have a strain that's been in veg for 7 weeks now and has already completely taken over the pot, hundreds roots are busting out of the drainage holes. I pack my medium much tighter than most people do for sure. It's all peat moss and perlite. The promix bx contains no nutrients at all. I start my feeding from the beginning. I usually don't get any burning actually until late in flower I flower for 65 days. I did not used to get burnt tips with HPS. I used to do a full soak three times a week with HPS with 1/2 tsp/gal nutes and no burn but with the LED it just dries out much slower I am experiencing and am watering every 4 days less than twice per week with nutes but now getting burnt tips.

Still seems a little odd. I'm perplexed as to why that may be occuring to be honest
As am I. The burnt tips seem to not have much effect on bud production, potency or taste though. This next round I am going to scale back the nutes a bit more and see what happens. Previously was mixing 2 teaspoons into 4 gals of water but for this next run of plants I will run 1.5 teaspoons into the same 4 gallons. Here is a pic of the tips this is day 37 of flowerimage.jpg

I just went back to DG foliage pro after running the citrus, My plants do better with pro mix and FP.

That's not bad at all really. I use it by the gallon, but still puzzled. Perhaps extra salt is sitting around from a soak where just a plain watering might be the best course of action

Agreed, well I did say burnt tips not scorched whole leaves lol but that may be possible where I might have done to much soak early on which created a slight buildup of salt in the bottom of the pot but with so much of the leaf nice and green and productive, it was never much of a concern to me. I certainly get massive tasty potent buds. I should add that this burn has been there since about week 2 of flower but has not gotten any worse since the initial burning of the tips that appeared.

I am finally switching up the strain after about 10 rounds of this white widow so maybe I just had a very sensitive cut of WW. I will see how this strain fairs so far 7 weeks into veg no burn. Also whiled we are in the thread of fair priced resources please allow me to share the best place I have ever found to acquire seeds... Www.ilovegrowingmarijuana.com. I have made several purchases from them and the prices are the best of all seed banks and I have never gotten a dud or hermie from them. The only complaint one can make about them is they don't have hundreds of strains like other banks but they have more than enough for me and no other bank can compete with their prices. My thumbs up to Claire and Robert bergman at ilgm!

You don't need to email jr peters just go on their website and order a tub of jack citrus feed. It costs $9.99 and will last you through pounds upon pounds of bud...here's the link
