Hey Jad. Have you tried Moneymakers? This harvest was the best I have ever done for weight and appearance but I can't say it was because of the genetics. I made some major changes in my nutes and I added a 300w led to the 2x4ft tent along with my 400w hps. Man, that was really a lot of light and the plants loved it. I also trained them as an 8 head manifold. Trimming was super easy except for being so sticky. I just left the popcorn on the stems and will make oil out of it later. I wish I could remember how much I ended up with but I was so stoned and there was so much of it that I became paranoid of getting caught with so much of it so...... one stoned evening I came up with the brilliant idea of hiding all of the bottles in different locations...and I still haven't found them all back yet... :?

This was from one plant

This was most of the colas on the 3 plants.

What seeds did you pop?
Money Maker --- It is a very old-school plant. A true Master Kush, High Times Cannabis Cup winner in the early 90s, presented in feminized form. ... The Money Maker makes very compact, heavy flower clusters, and it has very low leaf-to-calyx ratio so manicuring is very easy.
Genetics: Original Master Kush, Hindu Kush and Skunk (feminised)
Type: indica: 70% - sativa: 30%
Height: short plant (average internodal distance 5-7 cm).
Flowering Indoor: 8 weeks flowering time.
Flowering Outdoor: 8-9 weeks flowering time.
Taste: nutty, vegetal, spicy, fruity.
Scent: berries, spices, kushy, roasted.
Notes: Production up to 1Kg per plant depending on the final size. Support for the branches is recommended

Herbies has them, $32.15 AUD for 5 seeds. Great value. They are forgiving, like a lot of nutes and behave as described.

Sounds promising! gotta look into those eventually!

as for mine, I just popped these:

*BAM*
1.jpg

c99 - Cinderella 99
MD - Moby Dick
WW - White Widow x Big Bud
BLU - Blue OG

I'm setting myself up for good times.

Also, I realize I didn't make a final report my last grow!

So here's the short version:

I got 93g. And I was happy. I think I could have gotten a bit more, but damn it's some good smoke.

Jig, thank you for the Dog and Jack the Ripper seeds, these buds are da bomb!

And as always, c99 doesn't disappoint! I can safely say it's my favourite strain right now.

Here's what's left of the bounty...
68.jpg

Dog is very chill, very soft, and gets you pretty slow. Tastes like berries and earthy tones.
JTR is speedy, makes you euphoric and brings a bit of paranoia. Fruity, a bit citrus, a bit sour.
c99 is my perfect end to any given work day. Relaxing, but energetic buzz, clear minded, but engaging. Citrus, piney, fresh.

Here's to good health, and good times!

I declare Summer Season OPEN at the Haven.

One week from pop, here's how life in the Haven goes...

only 1 x 55w COB turned on, for now at 20/4

2.jpg 3.jpg 4.jpg 5.jpg

The Sativa Doms are looking great. The Indicas germinated one day later, so they are technically 1 day behind in development.
And take a look at that WW! Single Leaf first true node? Crazy! I seem to always have one (if ever so slightly) mutant plant around haha

Been feeding seedling strength nutes every other day, and in a couple days the roots should start to establish at the reservoir. From there, we'll be sailing 18/6 through the Veg

I will probably turn another COB on in a few days to provide plenty light energy for them babies

Question:
Should I be thinking about using maximum Watts in Veg as in Flower? Would I see that much of a difference?
So far I've been using half my Wattage to do Veg and then turn everything on for Flower... Am I loosing any significant development?

More light in veg should give them more plant, if that makes sense. I imagine they will be more compact, but still have the same amount of plant, like being condensed or something. I think it would give you more bud in the end if you ran all the light you could during veg as well as flower.

I don't know how significant it would be though.

Lookin good! More light in veg = stronger, heftier plants. Less light = tall lanky weaker plants. Too much light = burnt up plants! :-)

sad update..

I've cried this afternoon like I haven't cried since I was a kid.
I'm going through a separation, and I'm going to a new house.. A smaller place, with no possibility of growing...

Today I had to kill off my precious seedlings..
I've been learning to grow some pretty nice weed grow after grow, and this time had a magical feel about it. It has been spoiled...

I've snapped out of it, and I know that in my near future I'll find a way to make it all work out. But damn...

I hadn't felt so many deep crushing emotions so fast.. Leaving your partner, and destroying your precious little early crop was just numbing.

Enjoy your crops guys, because I recognise the love, the dedication, the time we put into our loved little plants is a powerful force in our lives, and in the lives of others...

I just lost my favourite zen place, and it hurt like a motherfuckingbitch.

Fat tears. Real rolling tears.

And I can't wait to sow some new beans real soon...

Expect me.

:leaf::peace:

So sad. You are going into another stage of your life. Sometimes it's scary, sometimes it's sad but tomorrow you will be looking back at today like it was yesterday.... because it will be yesterday!! Time moves on and we continually change. Whatever is bothering you today will someday just be a memory, but it could be a sad one.

yeah... lost the cat.. broke my fucking heart having to say goodbye...

I'm still unsure how to react to all this... I need time I guess

Just keep going... One step at a time. You will find yourself content with life again, one day or another.

Tough times really stuck and really hurt. I hope peace comes sooner than later.

I'm experiencing a very difficult time myself, so I am trying to read my own words.

I wish there was more I could do or say

Try to think of it as just a memory because that's what it is. What happened has happened and can't be changed. Look to the past to gain guidance in the future but don't dwell on it. It will only feed your sadness.

I'm an old man. I now look back in my past mostly just to reminisce. I no longer have those hormones raging through my body telling me that I gotta find a mate and reproduce.... I gotta provide a nest for my mate and offspring. I've had it happen several times in my life too.

Aloha!

It feels like a freakin' eternity.

I probably should be posting this on a new thread, but I decided 'what the heck'.

ANYWAY.
This is my latest grow, recently I started living somewhere new and I wanted to do a small test to see if I had "forgotten how to ride the bike". SO I went through the whole grow without posting.

Today was harvest day, and now starts the drying and curing process. Soon I'll post my small bounty, yield and smoke report.

I tried to germinate my 2 year old seeds but most of them were dead, I tried with a lot of them but I just couldn't get them to sprout.
Finally I got a germ from an old freebie I had, WW x BB.

I grew it out inside a big coffee mug, with a hempy bucket, pure perlite technique. I was going to transplant, but got afraid it might get out of hand, so I just stuck with it to the end.
Cut it in a mainline style similar to my previous grows, coming to a total of a 4 cola mini-tree.
The colas were trained and controlled for height and positioning using simple weights on strings. Bonsai style.

I'm just going to dump all the pics here so you can view at your own pace and leisure.
Smells like christmas in this house!!! AND I CAN'T WAIT TO TRY SOME
