I'm growing a Jock Horror Feminized Auto from Nirvana. Currently running the seedling with a CFL adding onto a 300w LED that's mainly focused on my larger plant at the time. Hopefully get another light soon and I'll just drop the cfls all together. She's a week old today. media_M8uTFr_8445c97ff043f4814c495637132c4158.jpg media_N0gVPM_15cd49ded342010c1e1481bfd1ef02aa.jpg Everyone's welcome to pitch in. This is only my second grow. So I don't know everything. I did do a lot of research prior and my first grow is still running. She's looking good. Feel free to jump over and check it out as well!

Good Luck Young Un, will keep an eye open for the goings on in here, keen to learn a bit more about autos, and if it turns out the way the other NL grow goes then it should be a good learning curve for us all

I'm gonna follow the same path I did with the Northern Gal. LST and Leaf Tucking! I will not (Hopefully) be transplanting her and I have learned from my mistakes of over watering in the early ages. I'm hoping to have The Jock outperform the Northern Gal.

Subbed again, you done well with your nl, very nice job with your lst and so far it looks like the hempy buckets paid off.

I thought growing was like riding a bike and getting back into things would be easy, but its amazing how much you forget over time ... being a bit rusty shows in the plantsn:oops::dunce:

And man its definitely harder than I thought Ithat would be. But I literally do nothing on my free time but research. So I find I just keep learning more and more

My Jock autos are flowering right now and the one piece of advice I have to give you is...watch your nutes like a hawk. These babies are super sensitive to nutes. I can't give them anymore than half strength dyna grow and I've still burned them twice. The first burn killed my top growth on one plant and damaged the other pretty bad. They bounced right back though. The second burn was a week ago because I got my jugs mixed up but I caught it before it did any real damage. They take forever to start flowering btw

Are either of you guys topping yours? This is my first Auto to be grown clear out for smoke. So I want to maximize my yield. I'm thinking about topping it. It's Barneys Farm Blue Mammoth Auto 20170705_170653.jpg 20170705_170719.jpg 20170705_170721.jpg 20170705_170649.jpg

I haven't topped mine and I'm not going to be doing so. For some it may work. I don't want it to not work on me. So I just LST and Leaf Tuck.

You have the right idea blue ridge. Mine were topped accidentally and it worked out but i wouldn't do it again with the auto jock horror
I have a friend who started a NL about 2 weeks after I started mine. Well at its 3 or 4th node he cut the coteyldons and bured it up to its first node. His plant stunted for like a week and then went straight to flower. He's gonna pull like a 8th or a quarter out of it. Needless to say I'm not cutting or moving it once it's down. Some people it may work but my only close example failed so I'm avoiding any high stress techniques.

Why would he cut the coteyldons off and bury it that deep?

I decided not to top mine. I'm gonna run this clear through I have a few other auto seeds. I'll test one of those out topping and whatnot. Good luck with you auto man.

He does it to his photos. He waits till they're a couple nodes and then cuts his coteyldons and buries up to first node. Claims it strengthens his stalk up. And he has results from it. So it may work on photos. But waaaay to much stress for autos.

So I'll be updating this afternoon but I began LST several days ago. I've got 3 lines on her right now. Trying to make her spiral.

Yeah I transplanted my blue mammoth auto and it stressed the shit out of it. It hasn't grown any in 3 days now. I didn't research autos. I guess your not suppose to transplant them. Found out the hard way. Germ, solocup, then final pot.

I germed, solocup, 1g smartpot, then 5g smartpot. And it hasn't grown at all since put in 5g pot. I'm probably gonna pull it. Bc it starts flowering at 35 days roughly. And I'm gonna lose out on a week of vegging it looks like. So it's not gonna produce any weight at all.

A similar thing just happened to me with a jock horror auto. I stunted it with rooting hormones and it didn't grow for over a week. Now it's flowering at a month but it's so small I may just pull it
