Before I use it, I wanna make sure no one has had any bad effects with it. I bought some Expert Gardener all purpose plant food from wally world. Its 15-30-15. I'll be using this on my clones up until I put them outdoors, so has anyone tried this stuff and if so, good or bad?

I was guessing its ok for clones since it has the phosphate.

Lake water should be find unless it has a fucked up PH, but unlikely.
If there are boats and a lot of oils in the water, then make sure you take your water below the surface with a bottle or something.

I personally would NOT risk using those notes, better off drive to a local hydro store and picking up the cheapest grow and bloom fertilizers or off ebay.
MG is NOT good to grow a plant to be smoked, they get fertilizers from industrial smoke stacks, waste and toxic residues that they process.
Avoid MG, they are a shitty product for your health.

You can also go organic, get worm castings and/or bat guano and blood/bone meal from any nursery
Do it right in the first place and you save yourself tons of money learning the hard way.

Good luck

thanks, I'm staying away from MG for the most part, although I had to use their moisture control soil for most of my plants. Next transplant I'll get something better.

You can use MG soil in a few ways, i've used it but baked it in the oven to kill off the bug eggs, think 175f temps.
It worked ok but when you flower the fert in the soil can burn your girls pretty badly, so water alot less during flower to get around that.

Hope it works out, later dude.

I picked up this other soil from lowes. I like the way it looks, its kinda sandy or gritty looking with mulch in it as well. I will be transplanting in this until I put them out in the field. This soul also has a lot less ferts in it. but so far the MG plants are doing well!
