the new new. loose rock wool with silica stone mixed in. hand watered once a day but im setting up drippers today since im going out of town for three days. the last donut on the right is gonna get split up when i get back. 4 will stay in the donut and 4 will get scrogged horizontally under another LED array. hoping to break the GPW mark on all these but who knows. the left flat scrog is nice and full but the right is a little lacking in some spots. still got some training and stretching to do so it may get a little better. now i need to get mothers going and fill my clone reserves to fill up the building! full speed ahead!

just thought i would post up my SCROG method that i was working with last night. works really good when doing multiple plants in a 4x4. i used zip ties to squeeze them together so the trellis netting would drop over them easier. from there i just made sure i spaced them nice and equally. once the scrog frame was lowered to the proper height i use produce twist ties to attach the stems to the netting. works like a charm and you can usually come up on the twist ties cheap or free.

all of my flowering plants are out on the floor now. ive taken cuts of everything and now i have to setup my veg tent and get those guys going to fill up the other side. plus i have another investor coming in and i will be expanding to 3 buildings in the next few weeks if it all goes through. stay tuned for massive expansion plans, new equipment and new adventures!

im curious to see what will yield better, vert 1k hps or 4x4 LED scrog with 600w

flushing has begun on the two monster plants. doing a slow and steady approach this time. dropped them down to about half strength and thoroughly flushed the media last night checking runoff till it was on point with the input. in a few days it will get dropped to quarter strength for the remainder and then i will cut the water and allow them to die before i cut and hang. they are scheduled to come down in about 8-12 days.

next round will be in Delta9nxs style PPK's. 12-15 plants per building running 2 buildings on a staggered harvest schedule. CO2, mix of LED and HPS to see what yields better. will also be testing out a new DE fixture if the budget permits it. lots of bills to pay off as well as a small investor that needs to be paid back. i cant wait to be back in active hydro with a bulletproof design that pretty much runs itself. he's going over 130 days without a res change to no ill effect. either top off with nutes or RO depending on EC values.

interesting.. I'd love to hear a little more about this drying method... you allow them to dry up and die while still in the pots, THEN cut and hang? what's the advantage of doing it this way? smoother smoke? might have to try this...

30 day difference

the two monster mothers get the chop tomorrow night!!! built my drying racks and setting up my tent tonight. worried about drying in those temps(84 degrees, RH is on point @62%) but i think i have someone who is gonna loan me a portable ac for my drying tent. if not i will make sure there is plenty of air movement/extraction but not directly blowing on them

eastbound and down. first two are my weakest harambe(20%) and third is my prized CGS Chem D Cookies(30.2%)
they are hanging in a 4x8 tent with an AC unit and circulating fan blowing at the floor. dont want any mold issues. that whole 4x8 is about to be loaded the fuck up lol

90% of my grow is down! waiting on a 4x4 and a vert 600w donut to finish in about 10 days or so. starting the hydro build when i get back from out of town in a couple days. should be fun and exciting to get these new genetics in there. cant wait for a room full of purple shit! first two are Chem D Cookies, third is harambe #5, then citral flo and lastly harambe #1. gotta get the citral flo tested as well as one of the harambe that i missed.

Damn nice grow there @DesertHydro. I was going to ask you about the ppks(if these were in them). I see my unasked question has been answered. I'm running a few mini scrog ppks myself. My unscroged ppks became monsters in my lil' tent, but these damned cobs got 'em stacking veeeeeeedy nicely.

everything is down! veg gets moved over tomorrow and they will get 4-5 weeks under the LED and then into the PPKs to flower

learning that the bulbs and LEDs need to be closer than i thought. i really need a damn light meter. may have to invest in one. the buds felt dense as hell while growing but when dried they dont feel quite as dense as i thought they would. not bad at all, just not crazy dense. could be the strain as well. either way im going to make some lighting adjustments and fine tune these as good as possible.

i think the vert donuts broke the 2lb mark on each 1000w but im not sure. still god damn trimming. if i make it big and expand im totally hiring out trimmers lol to help me. this blows. good problems to have, i know. why cant i be like d9 and just blast everything??? FML
