hey guys I'm into the beg of week 6 on my 1st indoor tent coco grow under a1200w led and 600w led with g.h flora nutes. have 2 n.l autos 1 n.l blue auto and 1 early w.w auto. had some issues with light too close and nute def. issues early on. I'm on a 24/0 light schedule. my n.l blue is about 12in. my reg n.l are about 10-11in. and the w.w is 10in. has anyone on here grown these strains under the same or similar conditions as i have? I'm curious what the growth was beg. week 6 . I'm wondering if i put my girls behind by screwing up at the beg. they are extremely bushy and dense due to light being too close but are starting to stretch now. been lsting them and have 6-10 buds on each plant. also should i stop lst now and let the new buds starting to bulk up? im doing transition nutes this week and bloom next. thanks! happy growing!

sorry man! trying to figure out how far behind my grow is for its age. ill be happy if i get some decent smoke. seems everything i do is screwing them up! should have gone organic soil as thats what i know but these nutes are a pain. maybe i should run what g.h recommends instead of 1/2 like is recommended for autos. idk. seems they're not getting enough .12in. for 31 days? feel like I'm starving them. they are bushy and dense tho.

if the plants are green then nutrients have nothing to do with how fast they are growing . if they are 12 inches tall use what ever the nutrient is suggesting . for 31 days 12 inches is not bad . your on track ..

I'm up to using 1/2 dose of what they recommend . that was what was suggested here for autos.
ok i understand . i am not a auto expert at any means . but i did do 1 auto and i can tell you i fed it the same as my photo . if the plant is green and shows no sigh of being hungry your good .

thanks bryan! i finally realized i wasn't feeding enough. i read at several sites that not to go over 1/2 of the recommended manufactures dose for autos. i guess this is wrong. i trimmed out older damaged leaves to make room for the newer growth and buds. it opened them up nicely and they look much more healthy! i think I'm on the right track . thanks to you and others for your help! happy growing!

how important is the light cycle to a seedling? for example i too am growing an auto i'm on only day 4 and i am wanting to go for 18/6 so today i started turning the light off for 6 hours is this ok or too soon ?

Thats cool i will adjust the timer and go 20-4 not a problem if anything i was worrying about temp drops in there anyway so 4 hours off will be much better, but do you reckon it is ok to go 20-4 from 4 days old tho ?

I did four off for temp purposes mostly. 4 off during the hottest part of the day saved my ass.. but yes, many people run autos 24/7.

yeah i was thinking about the whole 24/7 thing but for the same reason as nano i wanted them off over the hot part of the day so have set the timer to go off at noon then come on at 16:00,some people say plants need this rest time others say they don't but in nature they would have a rest period and i figure that's the best way to go 20 hours light is enough i doubt another 4 hours would create more buds or healthier veg but 4 hours a day off over a period of 9 to 10 weeks will save abit on the overall electric bill costs.

yeah heats not a issue up here as its about 5 outside during the day and -15f at night on average in jan. the heat is good! a lot of auto growers do 20/4. i don't have a timer so i don't really have a choice.

wow minus 15 at night lol cold AF yeah you don't need lights off with those outside temps. but in fairness tho i probably dont atm either it is winter here and pretty cold, we are due snow on Friday but where the grow is located gets enough central heating when it needs it so i'm gonna stick with 20-4 for the first time then gauge it on that i think.
