Just some newb questions

Hey all I was just checking my plant and i notice something funny. First thing is the leaves, it looks like nut burn as it got worst after i changed my water out, so I got straigth water in there now with 6.2 ph. now the other two pictures I am not sure what it is, and I am hoping my plant didnt change on me. It has been flowering for about 6 weeks now and just notice these little balls, Its myh only plant, but i do have 3 pepper plants next to it flowering also. So hopefully a pro can help me out and maybe help push in the right direction.

After checking out around, it looks like it might be a hermi, has it jsut appeared in the last week, Now can I save it, or should i just cut it down and try the new reqular seeds i got

i see male and female flowers and 1 seed

If i get rid of the male flower on teh stalk, will the rest of my plant be ok? Just have some seeds in my bud.

Also what would cause the male flower all of sudden, just if the plant was under stress? I removed the 3 flowers that I had found, but seems to be seeds everywhere, but just want to make sure I can continue one and the bud will still be yummy here soon to smoke.

You will just have seeds in the bud. Your seeds came from bag seed i am guessing?

Thanks guys, yea it was bag seed, just testing them out, but just got my kand kush cross germinateing for the next grow. I am hoping at least 1 of the 3 seeds is a lday.

I also see the classic sign of over fert in the leaf, you see the way they are concentrated around the veins in the leaf? The plant has taken up more nutrient than it is able to absorb and you can see how it has travelled up through the veins where it is deposited around the edges of the leaf? Its as if the plant is trying to rid itself of the excess.... classic sign that you need to reduce those nutes/ frequency of feeds. Very common sight here at rollitup!

When your plant is "sleeping" is it being exposed to excess light?

It's in my closet and i keep the lights off in my room except for the tv, so i think there jsut small trace ammounts seeping through the door frame.

For my next grow and veg, i am either a. building a cabinet, or getting a grow tent to keep completely seal from the light.

As the previous post, Yea i notice the leafs and saw the nute burn, so i got rid of it and jsut have it sitting in tap water with ph about 6.2. Going to wait til the weekend and redo it and give it either half or 3/4 of the bottel says.

Just chop those male flowers off that are located at the stem where other branches branch out... Keep an eye out for them... A couple of those bud shots just look like the calyxes are swelling... they do somewhat resemble seeds when they start swelling that much...

I had the same thing happen to me, about 6 weeks into flowering... one of my 2 ladies starting showing herm... just took some time to pick off the little balls....

You'd be suprised though... next time lights are on, really inspect those lower buds... Get a flashlight and get the plant somewhere where you can inspect it w/o being cramped in your grown room/looking at your lights...

It took me spreading apart the smaller bottom buds a bit and even moving some of the smaller sugar leaves out of the way... Eventually, i found some nanners.. The little bitches hide well... it could take up to an hour to REALLY inspect the entire plant...

Considering it's your only plant, you don't have to worry about killing it... just make sure you pick off the balls as they appear... And remember, especially w/ bag seed, sometimes the plant will just herm late in flower in a last ditch effort to pollenate herself...

You just want to make sure there are few if any male parts on the plant... or it will turn its focus into making A SHIT LOAD OF SEEDS and your buds will not grow anymore than they allready have...

you been going into the room when its dark? i was doing that and a plant hermied on me. there was way more seed than weed by the end

No, its in my closet, and my closet door is not 100% sealed.

There is about 1/4" gap between the door an the jambs. I am knew and didnt build anything fancy yet was jsut seeing if i was actually able to do it before invset big money
into for my new grow i am about to start.

I was only planning on growing peppers only, which are a little bit more leeway with light schedules, but than got into smoking again figure i will grow my own bud.

But got a bounus today at work, so going to get a hps lamp and a grow tent for my next grow.
