"Just the Snip" Fridge Storage

I swear I was on someone's grow journal and they were storing cuts in the fridge for a month or two successfully.
Just taking the snip and wrapping it good in a plastic storage bag..
Have any of you successfully done this? Please share your stories/methods/details
This would be a great alternative to people following plant counts, not being able to back up everything with rooted clones.

I wish I had a way to puff up the ziplock without breathing my germs in there. Did that 10 week experiment turn out for you?

I've not gotten around to trying 10 weeks yet, but I will be in the near future.

Don't worry about breathing germs onto them, afaik anything a human breaths out couldn't in a worst case scenario have any effect on them.
Give it a go and best of luck with it!
