Intrested in growing GDP outdoors in smart pots maybe some in ground. I live in central California, summer temps here soar to as high as 105 sometimes higher, I read that GDP likes temps of 70 to 80 degrees. Will I have any luck with this strain or can I just water more on hot days?

I've grown in outside a couple times without any problems. The photo in my avatar is some outdoor GDP from a couple years ago. All of it turned purple when the cooler weather hit and it was some of the tastiest outdoor I've smoked.

Thanks, good to know before I invest in these expensive beans. Those look like some impressive buds.

I live in the Central Valley. 2 yrs ago I ran GDP no issues. I ran 2 of the crosses I made from GDP male & World of Seeds Columbian Gold this year and those went well also. Only 1 strain ever refused to grow for me here because of the heat.
