i propose this thread be used for positive information, and ideas about plants and spiritual medicines!

research and learn first! a lot of young cats posts threads and act like they are helpless when there questions could be answered with a simple google search or from looking on erowid.org!

watch videos on you tube about terence mckenna. he was an anthropologist and ethnobotanist and a writer who has very interesting and unbelievably accurate information of shrooms as he was the first person to write the how to book on growing magic mushrooms and has A LOT of first hand experience..do more research about the mushrooms. learn about gordon wasson, and richard schultes, before you eat them. go to erowid.org..read the experience vaults. you should respect these sacred plants as they have been respected for thousands of years. you can have the time of your life flying in a world that is only pastel colors with beautiful animal spirts that want to help you in one second and then the next be stuck in your own hell for an eternity. time doesnt exsist in the serious shroom trip. if used with respect the outcomes can be beneficial to your life!

i bust balls alot but in all seriousness i have learned a great deal and have overcome alot in my life because of these medicines. so i take them with with great care respect and with the purist intention as other groundbreaking intuitive prosperous cultures have done for thousands of years before me.

peace and please learn before you trip!!! set and setting set and setting....

Before my spider fans take over this thread, the reason for the age question is, I was gonna ask you when you started getting interested in psychedelics.

Think I tripped shrooms the first time around 14. And I'd kill for some ayahuasca!
kill for ayahuasca?! hahaha its funny cause the name translates to vine of the dead. you dont take it for shits and giggles. you do it with an experienced ayahuascaro/healer. yage is not a joke

yeah thats cool and all stoney..but i would leave the brew making to an experienced ayahuascaro. there is a reason why these ayahuasca sessions are lead by a shaman. they insure that the ground you are on while taking the ayahuasca is safe and holy. meaning other evil shaman cannont hurt you while your spirit is in the spirit world and that you dont leave anything valuable behind or take anything dangerous with you.

I totally get that...I always try to approach all hallucinogens as a sacred experience...I've never tried ayahuasca, and I don't plan to anytime soon. But I am very intrested in cacti.Just hasn't been a good time to experiment. I'm still trying to learn more about them. The cactus spirits probably aren't too fond of me anyway...I managed to kill a bunch of bridgesii seedlings over the past couple of months. Until I can grow it on my own, I'm not going to try it.

I know this, I actually meant for use as a MAOI with DMT(Also any other psychoactive it could enhance), I would love to try the brew as well though, experienced or not experienced a sitter would be needed. I don't see how any healer could help me during a trip. Every trip has to be handled from the inside out, I would just wan't someone there to keep me from hurting myself.

I wonder how a natural trip like that would effect me now that I've done so many man mades, I found out they had rocket fuel in 2C-B after i snorted it, explains the feeling of your nose melting like its soaking in hydrochloric acid.

Edit. About the healer blessing the tripping ground, I would want the evil with the good, because every spiritual journey is a quest of good vs. evil, bad trip vs. good trip. You just can't let it scar your personality.

I dont think I would ever have a bad trip. My friends were talking about someone tripping and seeig the devil. I said Id prolly end up seeing the devil and talking to him about something, then crack a joke on him and he leaves. Idk it be cool to ride it out instead of panicing

Erowid is the shit man...I love that site. Especially the experience vaults, I have learned MANY things from there and its so cool reading other peoples experiences and they get you more prepared too.

I dont like reading others experience. Because I wouldnt want to think about their experience when I'm on a trip. I want it to be all me
