Kool-Aid and Molasses

peace to all. i have a baby that ive been tending to for the past few weeks. her space is 3x3x2. shes in a 10" bottom feeding pot filled wit MG regular potting soil shes about 8" tall after transplant. i fed her nutes via roots this week. next week shes getting nutes wit 1 packet of cherry (red) koolaid mixed in it. then the next time after that ima mix molasses in the feed. shes on 18/6. if u wanna see pics i gotta email em to u, limited internet options on my cell phone.

i got the seed from some chronic i got a few months back. shes under 2 46w cfls wit 2 26w cfls on the sides. more lights coming. one 4 inch fan a gallon jug co2 producer for now. i play music daily (outkast, coltrane, maze, bob marley, n various ol school tunes. shes fed/watered once a week. thats all i got 4 now. peace

why kool-aid and molasses? does that help the plant at all during veg?

from what i understand the molasses help during flower but i figure it wont hurt starting now. the koolaid is experimental. i wanna "naturally" change the color of da plant, im going on the same principle of why flamingos turn pink. plus kool-aid can be/is good for humans. why not plants? really an experimental grow all around. jus getting my preverbial feet wet. thnx 4 the inquiry. i can mail pics from my phone.

yea i saw that. i was impressed, but i wanted to try another route that gave the plant color from the beginning. or maybe i should use food coloring in place of the kool-aid? what do u think?

peace to all. im back, my city is DRY! damn law enforcement. thus why im growing . today i clipped some of the tips that were burnt. i also added 3 cfls, 23w 1600 a piece, bringing my grand total to 7 and about 13000lumen give or take. got a mister/spray bottle. she look good, even my brother think so (highly creditable ex-dealer). still no signs of sex. i was told females have 3, 5, and/or 7 fingers is this true? til the next time, good burning

I'd probably go with the kool-aid, they said the food coloring gave the weed a bad taste..that was something I actually wanted to try, but I think I'll just watch yours and see how they turn out before I experiment with my plants.

every plant I have grown started off by having 1 blade on each leaf, then as the next ones grew in they came with 3 per leaf, the next ones had 5, the next ones had 7, and they kept increasing by 2 till it got to 11 on both male and females.

I know that the healthier the plant the more blades per leaf so thats a really good way to judge how well its being taken care of.

what U should do for pix is email them to yourself, then use a free picture hosting site like photobucket.com to host the files. they have free private accounts and you have unlimited storage space. plus there is a lot more benefits but U have to see it to believe it.

Yeh man it would be a shame if they came out nice and colored, and we couldnt see the pictures : (

But hey I wouldnt add the small koolaid packets strait, you need to add about a cup or two of sugar. Mix the koolaid and the sugar up. then add a bit to your solution, strait kool-aid without sugar is bitter, and I dont think you would like the taste : )

peace to all. thanks for the advice, and my girl is growing her second set of 7 bladed leafs! rhe has 7 sets, 14 big leafs, and 4 leaves in between each branch n stem so bout 70 total give or take. about that sugar issue, i thought about it b4 n came up wit the same idea but was enlightened by a post on here. molasses is sweet b/c it has sugar in it, hell it is sugar. now since ima start feeding wit that on sunday thus taking the place of regular granulated sugar which imo...

is more harmful than helpful. i mean its not healthy for infants so why would it be for baby plants? this is theoretical of course, any actual facts will be greatly appreciated. ima try that site too. i appreciate u all taking the time to read and entertain this post. til the next time good burning.

i was reading some of these posts, man these people think different color weed is a phenomenon or some shyt. i started growing b/c im at home being a daddy n infants sleep 96.7% of the time good(not factual numbers). but figured if ima start a hobby why not have fun and push the limits? dying or altering colors 4 profit is wrong, imo. ive beat dudes ass purple 4 tryin to sale me a dream and know peeps that did worse...

back like i left something. i started 2 clones today, 1 was from the bottom the other was from the top. i also began misting and foilar feeding. her under soil reservoir is dry. she drinks buku water. ima give her a few days w/o water, give the roots time to search and grow a lil. her new growth is bright green and is comin in fast. nothing major as of now, til next time, good burning.

my people. i was taking a long gander at my girl n noticed that a good majority of her branches have a red tint to them, and ive been using cherry(red) kool-aid in my feed! i dont think the species is red, as ive seen the end results and its GREEN like Kermit. ima up the dosage making it 2 paks per gallon. i tried that photobucket but wasnt able to complete registration through my phone. soon as i can get pix up i will, peace 4 now. good burning.

so i put regular granulated sugar in my feed, and thus far she seems okay. ive been on 12/12 a few days now and i cant stand it! man the anxiety is ridiculous. im hoping its a female since i started 2 clones already (wishful thinking ). i tried the tie-down thing for about a day but stopped due to lack of experience and knowledge. maybe next go round.

alright shes been in flower for 2 wks come the 10th. i started using green light super bloom 12-55-6. i hope it helps. i mist her multiple times a day and leaf feed 2 to 3 times a week with a weak mix. shes over 2 ft tall. i have pics but everytime i put the codes in the post it jus says "image". something will give, til next good burning

plant looks pretty good, how old is it from seed now?
are you feeding straight water at all? and when was the last flush?
I know ur supposed to flush at least twice during flowering before the final flushes prior to harvest.

Im just curious bcuz U siad U feed 2-3 times per week, and I know the sugars and salts from the kool aid, molasses and ferts can pile up in the soil, but it doesnt look like ur having any problems.

thanks, shes bout 6 wks from seed. sprouted last week of april. i havent flushed yet, but i waited to get some advice from here b4 feeding tonight, glad i did. i noticed a big difference in ph between tap and store bought distilled water, courtesy of my aquarium ph kit. so i only use distilled water now. ill feed plain water tonight and next few days. thanks for the advice and good burning. more pix to come
