LA Confidential, Strawberry Cough subcool super soil SCROG led grow

Picked up some clones from the dispensary LA Confidential and strawberry cough in late December, been vegging in straight roots organics soil plan to transplant to 25 gal smartpots for flowering with subcools super soil. Lights are led off Amazon “1500 watt” made in China brand... actual draw is around 300w

Feel free to post any questions tips or comments!

Subbing up for this. Good luck with the LEDs... I'd return them for something better tbh. Other than those lights, sounds like it will be a great grow over here!

10 years ago leds cost an arm and a leg, market is flooded with these cheap leds now and tbh it seems like it’s working pretty well biggest issue I think I’ll encounter is too intense of light but the Scrog should help keep the canopy low

If anyone asks who cut the cheese tell them it’s Confidential

[EDIT] no one likes my joke so I added a picture of some SS in the LA pot, 2 of it in a bin, and a different LED that isn’t magenta which LA is under now.

Here is LA after 24 hours under the new screen

The really thick stems are giving me a little trouble, as well as the part of the screen with no plant in it. In hindsight I feel training my plants to 4 main stems should work well, as well as supercropping while I place the screen.

I did some tucking, bending, and was able to pull a shoot from the other side to hopefully even things out a bit:

Question for you: I transplanted this into super soil yesterday (very “hot”) and I plan on removing pretty much all growth under the screen eventually; will the plant be more likely to resist “burn” if I leave the undergrowth for now or remove it?
Thanks!
