midnight moonlight females! 2 different phenos. one appearing more bubba dominant (left) one looking more cindy diesel dominant (right)
SAM_0289.JPG
MORE THIN LEAFED LONGER NODES BETTER SIDE BRANCHING.^^^^^
SAM_0290.JPG
slightly broader leaf , way shorter side branches, shorter nodes , more earthy smell

now for the males....unfortunately 2 have been cut back already to flower a separate time. I like watching one male at a time unless im open populous pollinating. they willl get their turns in time. the uncut male however will be our first to flower soon and if he keeps on the track he is currently on we will keep that pollen for use on some females for some hybrids.
Again this is OG kush x sugaree( ecsd x c99) x bubba kush

I've been pollen chucking for a long time now. Mostly to just keep me in a good supply of beans but I like crossing strains to see what pops up. The biggest problem with my Northern Mist cross is the best pheno takes 12 -14 weeks to finish flowering but for me is well worth the wait. Also hoping to get a photoperiod version of it that finishes faster from the auto influence. Nice to have lots of seeds to share with fellow growers I've met on various forums the last 8 years or so. 3 guys have grown my NM and so far I'm batting 1000 with positive comments.

Another favorite cross I have was one a friend did a few years back. He's a member here and why I joined up. OldGrowerDude who I've lost touch with crossed Blueberry with L.S.D., both from Barney's Farms, and called it Lone Star Blue Heaven. Big phat colas that finish up in 52 - 65 days. Also very good for my depression and pain, I think it's the Mazar in the L.S.D. that has the positive effect on my mood as I get that same lift from the Purple Jem I used to cross the Northern Mist with that I'm working on now.

Some of the BH 5 years back.

Hell yea! What a beauty!!! I love blueberry so much! And LSD is one we used to carry at the dispensary I worked for years back! A very nice combo!! We are going to have to do a trade when our first batch of poly hybrids go out to test!! Thanks for sharing that's awesome!

Hey guys! Good days over here at Land and Heir/ Paydirt! Our male began dropping pollen at day 15, it is day 17 today and I have loaded all the breeding girls into the chamber with him on day 15. All females are staggered a bit on their flowering times and now it's time to leave them in there for a week to let them get heavily pollinated! Ok drumroll..... The males we are using to pollenate our Chernobyl, Buddhas sister, CCR, green crack, strawberry of, and Krinkle is...... Purgatory from Tga genetics ( querkle x hells og) . Our mission is to first test all of the f1s and see if any are worthy of stepping into the f2 breeding round. I'm excited about the flavored so much it's hard to not crack a goofy smile when talking about the potential. We will be looking for testers of these f1s and hopefully build some great relationships for further filial generations to be tested☺. Once again we won't be releasing f1 seeds ever. We want to lock in more desirable less volitile expressions while still leaving a decent amount of phenotypic variation in the gene pool for our customers to find their own something special. Some varieties will require more line breeding than others. On the landrace/ heirloom front we are deliberating and waiting for a suitable facility to correctly breed these varieties. For the good ole paydirt seeds sides we can breed for flavor and resin using a few ideal subject.. Which to me isn't breeding at all just flavor pairing and pollen chucking Now for the landrace stuff I won't be happy till I can pop a few thousand seeds at once and see a full spectrum from the gene pool. That being said il post pics of purgatory male from inside the chamber with all of his chamber maids tonight! Have a dank day!

Put me down on your short list to be a tester please! I'm about to start a grow journal to document the plants I'm growing now and the breeding strategy for them to find the good autos and eventually get a stable strain. Can always link you to journals I've done elsewhere too.

I've never really gone past the F1/F2 stage.

Question:

These plants that I'm trying to do as autos started with 6 under 20/4 light from the start to see if any flowered on there own in say 6 weeks or so. Planned to breed any that did. Had to take off for 5 weeks just as they hit the 6 week mark so I pruned them back to sticks so they would be stunted for a while as the wife is only good for simple watering chores.

These are a cross of Kali Mist and Northern Lights #5 both of which I have been growing since about '03 off and on. They originally came from Marc Emery's Seed Bank but don't know which breeder. I call it Northern Mist. I crossed it with Purple Jem auto from The Joint Doctor's High Bred Seeds, (Mazar x LowRyder). Don't know if it's LR1 or LR2. Just says Lowryder in the seed pack. I like that Mazar. Really good for my depression and helps just like that Blue Heaven that's the LSD cross with Blueberry. Mazar in the LSD genes too.

When I got back there was two males in full flower and beginning to drop pollen so they must have started flowering shortly after I left at around 7 or 8 weeks old. I collected pollen from both in one pile and plan to use it to pollinate each of the 4 girls, just a couple lower branches each, and use the beans from that union to grow the next generation.

Here's the question finally: Will the pollen from those early flowering guys reinforce the auto in the next generation so any girls will likely flower earlier? These girls are stretching and have more flowers on them that is normal than just showing sex but not really forming buds yet at 4 months of 20/4 light.

I know starting with only 6 plants isn't really a big enough sample set to do the best selecting from but I still have 232 seeds left of this cross. Fattest damn seeds I've ever seen too. 6/6 so far. Will be doing a SoG type grow right away using maybe 10 seeds in each of 4 or more 2 - gal pots but forcing flower at the 4th node just to get as early a harvest as possible to stock up on meds. Planning when room permits to grow more of them under long days to find more autos in the woodpile. :)

Looking forward to a green Xmas! :)

Hey old med! Hope your having a fantastic day! To me sir it sounds like your females have semi auto tendencies and while using those very fast males may reinforce that desired auto trait, it's not guaranteed. I would try it yes, but to find out what the males really did, I would want to pop lots and lots of he resulting progeny to look for cultivars hat did indeed inherent that trait. Then I'd line breed thos faster f1s back to the fastest purple Jem original male again to try even further reinforce that trait. Thoughts?...
I made a huge pollen cloud in the chamber last night so we should have pollinated plants within the week! Looking like December for testers to go out. You're on my list Old Med! Nice to see someone so ready to solve their own unique situations hurdles. We would be happy and honored to have you tested some of our lines!

I had just typed out a page of response when a ReCaptcha security box popped up and it all got lost. I just can't do it again right now and if I could email you I'd do it like that. Can't seem to send you a PM yet and don't know why.
