when you transplanted you put nutes in the bottom?? what exactly does that mean??? If you did what it sounds like I would be running 3gal. of water thru for every gal of medium you have....

but I really have no idea of "nutes in the bottom" means- please clarify and you will receive a far better answer

while transplanting i put the fert at the bottom and put the plants roots on top of it(there was like 4 inches of soil then i put the plant then packed the rest with soil). i think that damaged it.

Alright everyone I am stumped. This is the second time that this has reared its ugly head. The attached photo is a hi res scan of a leaf clipping that I took off one of my purple grandads that just went into flower 3 days ago.

This stuff was not on any of the plants while they were in my veg room (which is cfl based). If you need details on my setup I have a grow journal posted here:

https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/20330-my-first-grandaddy-purp-grow.html

Now I had this on my previous Critical Mass grow which I just harvested out of the same hut. My setup was completely cleaned with H202 and I had most of the tubing replaced after the last grow. Because it is DWC I guess something can be passing through the lines and getting my babies sick but I need to know what it is.

Now the only thing I can think of is light stress. I am noticing that only the large fan leaves are affected but on my last grow it spread to pretty much everywhere.

If anyone can just tell me what this is I would be really happy.

Well....

I gues nobody can help.

I was told by the "experts" at my grow store that it may be realted to a fungus. They sold me some copper soap spray. I used a lot of it to tr to nip this issue in the but.

They also told me to bleach the inside of my hut walls. This was not too hard because the walls can fold out so that the bleach spray will not get on the plants. Now I am back on lights on and I am noticing some black streaks on some of the larger fan leaves.

Can a super small amount of bleach cause this or is it more related to the copper spray?

Any help would be great.

Thanks,
