Greetings,

I've noticed about 4-5 days ago that all the leaves to my plant are turning slighty yellow and are curling inwards at the tips and on the sides. Their becoming more and more brittle and flaky. ALso I noticed some of the new leaves growing are mising the tips to them. I'll try to upload pictures later.

Deffinitley doesn't need water, I watered the plant with aboug 2 gallons 2 days ago. As for nutrient defficienly, well I've been giving it some nutrients occassionaly and it seemed like it was suffering from nute burn about a week ago. Is it possible that I've been giving it too much water? Or perhaps its magnesium defficieny?

it could be too much nutrients. did you leech it out after it started to get the burn? what strength nutes are you using?

The soil the plants in doesn't have good drainage at all, but I did attempt to flush it out about 2 days ago by giving it 2 gallons of water, as I said. I was thinking of giving it more water, but this soil is annoying to deal with, it retains water like a sponge.

I think I may have given the plant too much phosphorous, since I added in some bonemeal into the soil about 2 weeks ago and then about a week ago added in a nutrient solution a friend gave me, which is 10-10-0.

ok well drainage is the problem. you wont be able to leech it out without good drainage. gotta mix in some perlite about 30-40% so the water doesnt stay suspended for too long. then the roots will get all fucked up. do you pH the water? id say transplant them into a different mix if you can. dont know what else to tell ya. if the mix is wrong its going to follow you the whole grow.

I made a huge mistake using this crappy Walmart potting soil, and also I realized that it has nutrients that are very slowly released over a 10 month period, which probably has a lot to do with this problem. Unfortunatley I won't be able to afford perlite or anything at all until I get some christmas money (damn I need a job badly), and by then this plant will probably be even worse.

I'm planning to just order some White-Widow soon and then try to do everything perfect in growing it.

Thanks for the help.

perlite is only like $4 from Home Depot. And the pro-mix soil I use is like $15 for a huge bag. Works good too. Get some good pots that have drainage holes. That will solve the entire problem

Well went to home depot and they said they only get perlite in durring the summer-time, *sigh*. Would it matter much if I just used pebbles or some common rock instead?

I am having a problem with my leaves starting to change color towards the center of them. It looks like a deep brown or a purple. I know that blues is normally suppose to have purp in the stems but this is more like a sickness. It doesn't look like thats what the plant should be doing. my ph is running 5.8 - 6.0 Im on a bucket system with airiators. I change my water and nuets every 7-10 days. room temp is 68-72 and the humidity fluctuates from 55- 70 % Another thing I am wondering what the best kind of chemicals I can use. that would work well for this system. Brand wise. and what to stay away from
