My lights came on last night and the top leaves were dry thin and crispy looking with these spots. Its a fem fools gold strain from 710 Genetics. I'm using 10 1600 lumen cfls and one 150 watts 2800 lumen cfl. Plz let me know if this is a heat issue it's in 3 weeks flower in a waterfarm hydro setup

More info needed. Temps? PH level? Soil? Nutrients used? Its hard to say without all the variables listed.

The ph 5.9 tops. Using flora series. Gro,micro, bloom, floralicious plus, koolbloom, flora blend, rapid start. I'm going off the feeding schedule it came with. The temps are 70-75 top . If anyone has a feeding schedule they recommend with the nutes I'm using I'd appreciate it, thanks guys

Important thing to do is to take your time and be sure what the problem is. Trying to fix a problem that doesnt exist can worsen the real problem. Wait for more opinions.

I would try a flush to wash out any built up salts preventing the plant from absorbing the nutes. But wait until we get more opinions.

I flushed the plant 8 days ago with flora clean but may do it again. I'll see how they look when the lights come back on.

Your ph is a little low, but not that low. I don't think it is the cause of your problems but Ideal PH for soil is 6.5. Raising it a tad wouldn't hurt you.

I'm growing hydrophonic with the water farm I usually have it @5.8 the whole grow so far. I had the cfls about 3 inches from tops, fan blowing on all them. Iv read if it gets to hot the leaves will get dry n crispy which they are but idk about the spotting on few them. The lower growth is fine. I lowered the nutes yesterday to 1100 instead of 1300 which its been at for past few weeks, I guess that's high and 200 of that is tap water

Ive never used CFL's but a good rule is if your hand feels hot from the light, its too hot for the plants

I use flora series at 3/4 of ratio. Keep in mind all plants aren't alike. For example, I used 3 gallons at start of veg, on my GH waterfarm 3 gal bucket. Then slowly dropped. Now I'm at 2 3/4 gallons, just so pebbles will be soaked. I use nutrient equivalent of 2 and 1/2 gallons. So if your on week 3 or week 3+, for 2 3/4 gallons, use 25 ml of grow, 25 ml of micro, and 12.5 ml of bloom. These ratios are for weeks 3 & 3+ in veg. Idk how far along you are, but your water farm should have came with a schedule. Use floralicious plus at 2.5 ml if your doing 2 3/4 gallons. Which I highly reccomend you use 2 3/4 gallons. So your drip ring will literally POUR water out. Instead of it causing build ups in the drip holes, like bubbles and uneven water flow. Make sure the water level on your drain measure isn't at the white line like they recommend. Make it to where its half way from white line and drain support hole. So you can take into consideration evaporating water and water intake. Also keep in mind to water your pebbles. Put bucket on top of something. Use drain to poor the resovoir water in a cup and water the pebbles. So you won't have dry white pebbles all day. Or algae buildup. Do this twice a day when your also checking your pH twice a day. Keep track of pH levels in a journal, what time you checked and what time you watered. Doing this helps keep bucket clean and will give you a better smelling bucket. I also mix up the nutes by physically blowing air through the drain, make sure you have top bucket off. Do that twice a day and your nutrients will be aerated and mixed well all the time. Also your giving it natural co2 you exhale by blowing into the drain hole. It sounds gross but I do it anyways. If your using tap water, I highly reccomend you switch to flora micro hard water. Instead of regular flora micro. And before you switch out your nutes, leave the water sitting for at least 12 hours, to get chlorine and other bad stuff out. Just the water without nutes. Remember to let your plant sit in fresh water for about 20 minutes in between nutes changes, so it can drink good fresh water. Doing all these things will give you GUARANTEED results. Plus it helps you bond with your plant. I highly believe these plants have feelings. The more they know that they depend on you, the happier they are and the better they bond wit YOU. ( greener ) last thing, keep CFls at a good level. I honestly think you have them to close. I havea 100 w at 8 inches. And I have two more 100 w at 12 inches. Just so they can have light everywhere. You will slowly build your own traditions I promise. Everyone doesn't grow the same. What works for me might now work for you, being that we have the same hydro setups, you should follow these instructions. And tweak it according to your likings. Are you topping in this run by any chance? I got recommended to top and scrog on my current grow, which I will be doing. I can give you the link the guy gave me if your curious.

The root ball seems bit small like 2 softballs put together. There white/off white color little orangish. I noticed as well just tips of leaves are yellow so nute but guessing. Here's closeup pic of leaves. I'm guessing lights to close to tops and nute burn from all this. Think I'm gonna just use the 3 basic nutes, everything been fine until I ordered all that extra bs

Pic from night before this happened. Was healthy. I topped it once and screwed holes in the top to of waterfarm to tie branches down to side to open up the middle for light. I'm gonna flush it tonight with florakleen for couple hours and I'll try your nute schedule rolando.

Make sure not to give up on Floralicious plus. It does wonders. Use those four and you'll be all set. Plus you can use flora + all through veg and flower. Smells bad but its really good organicish stuff.
