Whats going on everybody I have a reef led light which I think would be great for a grow due to its strong-long wavelengths. Here's a description of the light. Does anybody have and idea of how good it would work?

Hey Packs. Way to much blue. You should think about selling it and buying something more appropriate for growing. Or adding lotsa and lotsa of red :) Good Luck!

You'll fry your plants with that much blue, unless you put it so far away as to be a woefully inefficient use of electricity.

Those lights are intended to penetrate water by a foot or so, for underwater corals.

LED for aquarium is different then plants..

for one, aquarium needs less LED, our plants need far more

two, color spectrum is far off, aquarium favoring blue's , which is opposite plants don't need that much and need more red
