Hey folks,

So I have a room of 5x3 which is 15 sq ft and I was thinking about placing 7-8 plants under a 1000 w led lights.I need to ask Which LED would be the best for my grow? I have came across this 1000w, would it be sufficient enough?

So everyone is going to tell you that Chinese stuff is crap. It still has uses for the price (veg, supplemental, micro grow), but were after efficiency and those blurple panels aren't any kind of efficient and you may as well go for HID lighting.

Anyway your options are either cobs, panels or strips.

If you go DIY you can get more light for less $$$, learn a lot, have some fun, get lost in information and more than likely have a new hobby.. Led lighting ;)

Cobs come in prefabricated kits (cobkits, timber, cutter), or DIY you have to assemble the lights yourself which is just basic soldering really.

Panels would be quantum boards, (horticulturelightinggroup) chilled growlights and suncloak.

Strips are Samsung H series (most efficient, cost 2x the EB strips) bridgelux EB series

You should read through lots of threads here and see what people are doing with cobs, quantum boards, strips, panels etc.. There's a lot more lights than I listed but I'm rekt right now. Adiós

you want 600W of actual light, not "1000W" that is actually 200-300W. stayaway from that mislabled garbage
