Led Users Unite!

ive been using my LED and i love the no heat issue, no thermal footprint for those nosy coppers, and the low power bill each month, plus my ladies are thriving you just have to make sure you put the light as close as yo can get it to the plants and watch the magic happen!

Hey kiffytoi I to have searched for a good grow journal using Led, what I have come to find was the Led Growshow by a guy named Hans who lives in Amsterdam somewhere. He builds his own panels with single 3W LED's. He grows in soil and posts every weekend with updates and pictures. I also did a small journal on some Casey Jones I grew in a small closet space just recently with a 120W Led Panel, and got 2.5 ounces off two plants and had to pull a week early, but now I have a larger space with 2 120W Led panels with 4, two foot T5 strips to balance the spectrum some and help with the flower delay I had with only Led. They are in the last week of Veg and are looking really good. Check them out if you want, I post every weekend.

What do you consider good? 1000W equivalent? Well no crap it isn't happening. Get real with these things, and let the people who want to do it, try it, if you want to knock it, go elsewhere. Search here for Irishboy and his thread, it rocked until his unfortunate incident. There are others such as cali with the badass lumigrow es, which would put you in your chair my friend. If you wanna hate, please stay out of this.

I've got a grow right now with a 90W LED light (round one) - from Eufala - it was 8 weeks into flowering friday sept 18, 09. the buds are nice, stinky, but the leaves look like they're missing something. They are in dirt, 5 gal bucket (not sure if they're root bound or not) I'm waiting till their done to decide if I'll try an HPS 250 W - my area is small - 3'x3'x7' - power usage and heat signature was my reasoning for the LED, but I hear that a 250W HPS isn't all that hot or use much power and will fit my room size perfectly. 1 good thing - I have 2 rooms - a veg & a flower - both the same size with CFL's (4 - 42W, 1 - 28 W???, and the LED(2 of the 2700K 42w are with the LED) - , 2 fans, 1 air & water pump, and our bill didn't go up at all - it went down less than a dollar!!! I will add to this in a week or so when harvest is done and report how it is.

Its crazy good...crazy good. Are those 5 gal buckets in the lower pics? Notice how the lights are a lot closer there, yet the other pics seem to be supplemented with HID, as yours kind of are at some point.

Sweet stuff!!!

Hello all, I would like to say that I have been seeing amazing results with the prosource jumbo 180W. Its pretty sweet. No I am not a salesman for them, so piss off in advance. I would just like to share what I have been seeing. If nothing else 180W can sure as hell come close to 600W hps veg... Only time will tell for the rest, however, we have already seen what 90W of prosource leds can do. Double that...Advance it...Its nuts...

Just for whoever is interested and cannot afford higher priced products such as lumigrow, and TI Lamps.

Peace and Happy Times

I am running a test on a new one. I am always wanting to see how these do. At another set-up we run T5's and 4 1000w HPS, 5 ballast and a BIGASS AC. We are legal growers, but are still worried that the heat is going t bring the FED's. So I told my partner that I know someone who has new LED's. So we set-up a little test site to see how they flower. I have a Grow Journal called NEW Led.
