i currently have 2 600W hps lights and 12 small super lemon cuttings was just wondering if I was to put a 24watt LED light in between the 2 lights would that make a difference on plant growth or plant quality?
No experience what so ever with LEDS if someone could help would appreciate it

a 24 watt led is going to make no difference in a 1200watt grow room. if you ware looking to supplement HPS you should consider the agromax UVA -plus bulbs. they provide light in the UV and blue spectrum that is missing with HPS

It won't have much of an effect if hung at the same height as the HID's due to inverse-square law. It might be better to use it as side or under canopy lighting.

Light being light it will add a futher 2% to the combined total of illumination on a theoretical plane of unknown dimension and depth placed underneath.

it may make a small difference but plants need to adapt to LEDs just like they need to adapt to HPS and you are not really adding much to your spectrum with that light.most LEDs in that range actually draw less than 300 watts and contain a lot of red and very little blue light

cause it never is? and he tells us its a 24 w or something in the first post.

Its a 24w - 700w equivalent...
I was assuming he had a 4th light that's 700w. In his post he said he has a 24w led, and 2 600w hps's. He said his mate gave him a 700w led, so that means he has at least 4 lights.... Right?!

No I was looking at buying a 24 watt led strip, but then I spoke to my mate that has a 700W one and that's the one I've got
