Legal question help please

Hello. I am a legal card holder and can possess 12 plants. My wife would like to get her card also. She don't plan on growing 12 plants but maybe just 2 or 3 for a hobby and something to do and try new strains.

I have my own locked room. So does she become her own provider and have her own locked room? Or would she be my patient and I grow her meds for her? If so can I do hers in 1 locked room and mine in another locked room? Or do they all need to be in the same room? I'm just curious since we are husband and wife and live at the same address.

Thanks

Also we could have more useable medicine on hand at one time. Sometimes we run out before the next ones are ready.

if thats all you wish to do I'd call her my patient if I were you and that allows you to grow all 12 of yours plus all 12 of hers. I fyou want to expand you may also legally grow 12 more plants in the same space per patient up to five patients plus you=71 plants in one space.
she cannot go into that space legally for any reason ever. she cannot have access to that space either, combination locks guarantee plausible deniability for thought.

So if I honestly don't feel like taking care of her few plants and I want her to learn how to grow is it legal if she has her own locked room with her paperwork on the door and her few plants in their and me to have my own locked room with my paper work clearly listed Also? I don't really want to be her caregiver if I don't have to be. I was unsure if because we lived at the same address if we could do our own grows. We never plan to have patients or anything it's strictly for personal use and that's it.

yes you can have two separate rooms dont be in the other one to stay legal. I've seen hubby/wife with one running the veg/clones and the other the flower room, very convenient if you dont mind the tiny grey area when they exchange plants, its in the middle of the night, and they wear masks and light candles, so its ok of course:P.

there is no such rule concerning paperwork on doors btw, just keep copies on your person/in your dresser, on your computer, in your email storage etc.

Thank you.

One other question. Since we each can have 2 1/2 oz. So 5 total. Does it have to be stored separate? Locked up away from one another?

thats a good question but I dont think so, except.....if she's not home and you're knocked with 5 oz......might be a hassle till you anty up to a lawyer. be safe

if you are a patient and are registered as your wifes caregiver, and your wife has possession of her plants, then it goes like this:

you (caregiver and patient) : allowed to possess your 12 plants and 2.5 oz for you and 2.5 oz for your wife. = 5oz total
your wife (patient) : allowed to possess 12 plants and 2.5 oz usable. = 2.5 oz total

thats probably the arrangement you want. just be sure to keep plants locked up.

it might also be possible for your wife to also be your caregiver, thus allowing BOTH of you to possess 5oz of usable. that would probably be the best, if you plan to keep your usable marijuana stored in a shared space.

so it would then be:
you (patient and caregiver) 12 plants + 2.5 oz for you and 2.5oz for her = 5 oz total
wife (patient and caregiver) 12 plants + 2.5 oz for her and 2.5oz for you = 5 oz total

to answer your next question, that would allow you both to possess 5 ounces. so you would have to have 2 seperate locked cases of 5 ounces each for a total of 10 ounces.

see, if you had all 10 ounces together, you only have the cards for 5 ounces each. if you possess more than the 2.5 ounces for yourself and 2.5 ounces per patient, then you lose section 4 immunities.

separate keys, separate locks etc.

i am not a lawyer.

Mark everything "waste to be destroyed"
Not labeling things makes it easier for them to F with you. Who are they to say it's not waste to be destroyed?
