Does anyone know if Canadians will be allowed to grow recreational marijuana in 2017, when legalization supposedly occurs?

Simple answer is 'no', that remains an unknown. I'm thinking they will go with limited plant count for rec grows similar to Colorado. It will be tough to ban personal grows when production of tobacco and alcohol are legal, imo.

All depends on what the task force recommends and what makes it into the legislation that is tabled. It's anyone's guess at this point.
