Here's a link to some pics of the Lemon Kush Headband pheno I got from Humboldt Seed Organization.
Pretty nice lady.

Taste and Smell are the same, medium in terms of strength even after couple months cure.
Hard to describe, definitely candy-like. Rocket Candies?. Very smooth. A slight hint of fuel and lemon pinesol in the background. I don't smell the skunkyness that a bag of headband just opened up usually smells the air up like or the lemon taste headband usually has. It's different than what you'd expect from the parentage, this pheno anyways. The yield and plant structure are similar to headband, but even more dense probably from the kush. Then again people I know who don't grow and just smoke say it smells skunky/dank so perhaps my nose has built a tolerance over the years.

Effect is the headband head buzz but with a pretty strong creeper body effect strong enough to be suitable for my insomnia, restless legs.

This was one freebie seed from the attitude, I plan to search for a pheno with a little more skunky fuel pinesol in the taste and smell.
Overall it's great genetics just comes down to personal opinion if you'd like this sweeter, candyish pheno.

i know this is a old thread but i was looking for info on this strain. i started 3 fem seeds of this strain and i got 2 diff pheno. 2 of the plants have the usual kush structure and are flowering nice. the other pheno is a sativa dom and flowering very slow. 2 1/2 weeks into 12/12 and it still does not have solid bud formation like the rest of my plants. even my other sativa dom plants have started bud formation. and it is not as tall as the indica dom phenos but has tons of small shoots like a sativa. it is a weird plant! if anyone has experience growing more than just one of this strain, please let me know.

very nice looking plant! i had such high hopes for this strain from the pictures i found online but i was disappointed! yesterday was 9 weeks of 12/12 on my 3 lemon kush headband by HSO. all 3 sprouted and made decent sized plants but the bud formation was loose compared to others and they were nute & water sensitive! i have been over-all disappointed with Humboldt seed org. in general. i have tried several but found nothing i would grow again! TH seeds, G13 seeds, even some of barneys farms strains has out-performed HSO in my opinion. Oh and BTW bodhi did not live up to the hype either. over-priced and was out-performed by other breeders in my garden.

I hate to hear that I do...maybe I got lucky with these.idk.i ordered these and the free seeds I got with em are the ones that didn’t do much for me.liberty haze and amnesia OG ...they sprouted but that’s about it .LKH are the ones that took off for me.i veg the others and gave em away.didnt want to waste my nutes on em.they turned out to be really dense nugs.i started at 1/4 strength,then 1/2,and then tried full strength and they seemed to love it.no burns.and I gave em bloom boosters and I think that helped a lot that’s when they got big and dense.they were done 3 days ago.like I said this is my 1st grow.i sure hope I don’t screw up the dry and cure.i honestly don’t know what I’m doing.well see .happy growing man

looks like a good harvest! was this a outdoor grow? looks like they could have went longer but i wait until frost to harvest my outdoor plants. the leaves are nice and green too! mine started to turn yellow & brown toward the end of the 9wks. i always expect some yellowing of the leaves toward the end but the lemon kush headband seemed to be worse than most others. i am trimming and drying mine now so i will be back with a smoke report in a week or so. looks like a avg yield though! maybe 3 oz per plant in 3 gal containers of ocean forest dirt and FF nutes. 5wks veg and 9wks flower under 2x600 HPS Sunmaster & 1x400 HPS. (12 assorted plants)

Outdoor grow.trichomes we’re getting bout 15-20% Amber.didnt want it to go over 30 .gave it an extra little time while drying for that 10–15% extra to make it bout 70/30.i had 2 different phenos.1plant started fading yellow but the other held up green.ghey were that green the whole time .they were heavy feeders.i would feed then water in between feedings.but no matter what I always gave an extra oz of seaweed extract everytime.thays all I can figure out about being so green.or I might have been off on my feeding schedule.cause with them being outside u don’t really know what week veg it is or what Day flower.they been growing almost 6 months.not the 3 months u can do it inside with controlled environment .outside is tricky to me.i was hoping I can get 3-4 oz a plant .idk though.rhat would be nice.heres some photos of fading leaves on 1 of em.i might have been on the wrong week thus too much nitrogen at the wrong time.cause when hairs started turning I started watching the trichomez.and when I was 2 weeks out I stopped everything and started flushin.my ppm we’re close to 2000.heavy feeders man.heres some photos of some leaves fading.u got any photos of yours this season?would like to see em take it easy
