Bad situation, but think about the troubles of the extreme palestinians. You try to live next to a bunch of durka durkas bombing your cars and buildings and just let them be. If i remember right, Isrealites lived and originated in this same land, correct? It should be a 50/50 split, but not only the palestinians want the jews erradicated but the whole muslim area. If they give an inch, these people will take a mile and any lives in it. Not all the people, I feel bad for the general population, but those in power are not trustworthy.

my 2 cents.....and I know my spellings off, acknowledging that before you try to bring that up.

Even if you were going off of the Torah to justify historically, the claim that Palestine should belong exclusively to Jews, which I do not, you would be faced with Deuteronomy 6:10-12

If the Palestinians did not have such a high percentage of lunatics they would be entitled to a country.
But since they do they must be kept in line.

Somehow you don't strike me as the type who actually cares about women's rights, but if you have something to say about women in Islam, please go on. Be sure to conclude your argument in such a way that shows how Zionism is making Palestine a better place for Arab women.

why is this our problem?

I know i know, America constantly sticks its nose into other people business, but what if we stop, what if we just stop interfering and just let then sort it out? Is what happens on our conscience, can we be held responsible internationally? Should our tax dollars be spent playing big brother to the world to try and stop what "we consider" injustices? but then there is the oil we depend so heavily on...... but i'm not sure that has anything do with Israel.

we spend so much time contemplating how to solve the worlds problems when i feel we have enough of our own problems to worry about to keep us busy for quiet some time.

This is a isolated conflict between 2 independent factions that does not require our interference. It has little to no chance of spreading to become any major threat to us.

but then could we not hold Israel responsible for using such weapons under modern day treaties, making it a global concern in which the UN would offer the united support of the major nations of the world in dealing with it? I'm just saying this is not our fight..... or at least not yet.
