my plants are ready to flower but i carnt use hps as i dont have enough space and heat+ventelation will be a problem, i was thinking of using envirolite blue+ envirolite red 250w , its that a good idea and if not has anyne got any advise

Many thanks:joint:

i agree with the cfl idea, going for led's would be a waste unless youre thinking of it as an investment and will use those as supplemental lights for all your grows for a while

Cool white (6500 K) for veg; warm white (2700 K) for flower ... cn
For a very very cool read, might i recommend "LED without LEDs" thread ... aquarium T5s for a custom spectrum richest in "PAR", the light plants actually use. cn

Cool white is confusing in this context ... cool white is "bluer" which means higher color temperature. Cool white is 6500K ... 2700K is warm white (yellower). cn
I'm Googling "envirolite" and coming up with many irrelevant hits. Links ... ? cn

2700k is the color temperature of the light. That is different than the wattage or power. You can get the 2700k CFL at a local hardware store or some such. My local walmart didn't go that low unfortunately.

Cannabineer - I've read that thread and a couple of others on running coral t5 bulbs before, it really peaks my interest. I haven't compared the light output to the pl-l lights though.

I personally went with pl-l or 2g11 bulbs myself. They put out more light than standard t5 bulbs of similar size or wattage and much more than CFL's. They produce less heat that a hid system I believe.

Don't skimp on your ventilation and carbon scrubber.

Edit: I think he means this http://www.enviro-gro-lites.co.uk/250w2700K+SLR-PG.asp which is just a 250w 2700k CFL

What is the dimensions of your space?
