Light for seedlings?

Okay. So I am in the home stretch on getting my grow room setup and I'm about 2 weeks away from starting the germination process. My question is, I only have one light, Next light Mega. Can I use this on my seedlings if I put it high enough in a 5x5x7 grow tent? I do have a couple of 130w LEDS and a 150w MH but I really want them under the MEGA.

It's your dime, I keep mine under cheap to run fluorescents. But won't hurt them.

Does it have a dimmer?

IMO nothing grows better looking and bushier plants than the cheap blurple lights.

I like a shoplight, keep it within 1-3 inches away, seedlings love it. dont put a strong light up high or the seedlings will stretch. I guess I do things different but i had my last seedlings under that and never watered them in pro mix 5.5 pots for 2 weeks. Thats bout the time to move them out from the shoplight too. Someone else was describing how his feeding schedule was at that age, how do you have a schedule if theyve never been watered yet? Btw, the plants got overgrown like always.

I have no idea.

im fucking it all up, cant find my shoplight? im trying the timber cree setup but it hasnt worked yet and ill be pissed if these greedy ogkb crosses fail/ im gonna search for my old shoplight.

Yes you can. I sometimes start them for 12/12 Grows under a 600hps in the flower room. And really there can be 3 of them going in that little room.

But they are at least 3-4 feet under and I watch carefully for leaf stress and adjust with stands.

The sooner they are able to handle good amount of light the stronger they become. But be careful.

I just use a 100w led home depot cheap ass daylight thing. I use about one bulb for 4 babies a couple of inches away. After about 2-3 weeks I go to t-5's or 420 w DE-AC 3 feet away.
