light proof passive intake

Anyone have a design or know of something that will give me a light proof intake, need a couple passive intakes into my flower area but needs to be light proof.

Use a length of black flexible ducting and create and S shape with it. I just use some hook and loop velcro to hold it in shape then duct tape to the opening.

Light cannot bend so by adding 2 bends it will be 100% light tight.

I tried this, still has light going through, the inside of the ducting is reflecting the light through. I found a thread about making a light proof louver, going to give that a shot.

Yeah it will, thats why you need the black ducting.

I did this and then put pantyhose over the end to make a filter. It works ok but I have to vacuum them 1x week.

i needed that once, took two 90 degree pvc elbows and painted the inside flat black, turned them both so they were pointing down, you'd have to actually shine a light directly into one end to see it at all on the other end
