Im using a bunch of cfl's for vegging right now. I have a 50w HPS sitting around. Could i flower 3 mothers in a 3x3x2 grow box with this one light alone?

No.
You could, but it will be scraggy, leggy and airy. It could be part of the lights with a bunch of warm CFLs. For that area, you need the equivalent of at least a 250w HPS. I'd consider at taller box, if possible. Otherwise, you're going to need bunches of CFLs in there.
