is it really important to vent your lights? i have 2 1000 watters and it is making my room hit 100 degrees f. that is with the intake air at 62 f. and fans running.

so i have to make a decision; do i buy a 350 dollar portable air conditioner or do you think i could remedy the problem by venting my lights?

definitely air cool the lights or switch to 600's i switched to 2 digital 600s from 1 regular 1000 it runs alot cooler i do vent with a 125 cfm fan for the lights so for two 1000s use a 2-250 cfm vent fan .

you answered you own question. if your temps. are that high now, wait a couple weeks and your girls will be cooking! i use a 6" vented hood and the difference is huge. you really want to keep those temps down for yields sake too. too much heat will yield light, fluffy buds.
