Lighting/space/temp dilemma

First post, been lurking a while. I'm getting ready to set up a first ever grow (the schwag plant i stuck under fluroro tubes in my college cupboard don't count :))
Looking forward to posting the journal here, but i'm stuck and any advice much appreciated.

I'm setting up in an attic in the south east - it's going to be cold. And i need to be able to dismantle it quickly if need be, which means using a grow tent. The best tent size for the space I've got is 0.75m x 0.75m x 1.2m. That gives me almost 6 sq ft, but not much headroom.

My question is - will 400w be too much, and is the height of the tent too low?

So far the plan is: 400w, 2 plant scrog with NFT (to keep height/maintenance down). According to my maffs the plants (and me) will benefit from the extra light. Obviously i'm gonna have the extractor on 24/7, with fans blowing inside too, and i figure it's going to be cold outside...

So yeah - 250w or 400w in that situation? What do you reckon?

cheers

If you can cool it properly then yeah go for the 400...just don't plan on using it during the summer up there unless you plan on air conditioning the space :)

You'll also want to think about during the dark period and how you plan on heating the space...because you don't want it to fall too low...you want it about 15F max lower than your daytime high :)

400w for sure. Just make sure you got good air flow. Im assuming that if it gets that cold where you are in the winter, it probably gets pretty hot during the summer. Do you have AC in your house? Just keep your house around 70 degrees and you should be fine with the right ventilation. ScrOG is definately the way to go. Look forward to pictures!
