Why do you think it has a lot of salt? Does it have Sodium content? I think this is a Canadian company, but it is one of the several BIOAGs out there. The biggest being Monsanto's horticulture division. I don't think this one is affiliated.

Kelp is amazing stuff for your plants. Loaded with micronutrients and a nice K boost.

Edit: Just read the content....does seem high. The sulfate will bind with the sodium though and be flushable after several weeks.

The salt content is 3.5.....thats a shit ton.....i know salts are a no no for organics.....i brought this up last year and @greasemonkeymann said he wouldn't use it in his organics and i trust him a lot...im just getting diff opinions on what I can do w it...or if there is some backwoods method of reducing the salt content....i know I had. A sick plant and used this stuff before asking qs and it perked up fast...but I'm trying to build micro herds like a mo fo and from what I understand salt is a kills.....

Compost contains more than 3% Na in many cases. I wouldn't be that concerned with the 3%, you are only using a few cups I assume. Some types of kelp and seaweed have higher amounts of Na but the benefits outweigh any risk of sodium IMO.

Both compost and seaweed contain negatively charged sulfates which will bind with Na++ and be leachable (sulfates leach)

This article also talks about using various biochars, composts and gypsum to facilitate the leaching and which combination worked best.

I threw some in my compost pile last year but I was scared to add too much....i ordered alfalfa meal and got seeds......b.s...so I tried to grown some and it was doing great..but my cheap ass dad put up a fence in a square...for deer....only one side he ran out of fence and didn't wanna spend the extra money on a roll of fence and literally everything was ate....well ill guarantee ill have my own garden specifically for my alfalfa to make meal outa it and use it as a mix and add to compost

I grow soybean for the same purpose. A good way to be. Salinity is a bigger issue for high tunnels and no tillers who recycle their soil and use a lot of compost.
