Well I choose autos for the fact that I have only grown one plant so far. I a not looking for really high yields as I am the only smoker here. I do live in the states but in a state where it is not legal yet.
Ok cool. Not trying to steer you away from autos but just pick up some fems seeds if you don't want to wait to sex the plants. You can still order from US banks they will ship to you if you are comfortable & beats worrying about customs.

Then again not a lot of fem choices stateside & cbd fems at that so maybe order from Seedsman again. Look at the strains for anxiety as well, few in that list that look decent.

Tru, I will probably stick with autos for the time being. From that list on seedsman, which would you think would be a good choice for me? I know everyone is different but to have some options would be helpful. If have time I mean.

FYI I don't grow for yield either I'm sure some autos yield waaay more than some of the stuff I grow lol!! To to pick something I would get critical + auto. Dinafem has a good rep imo what I've grown from them has been what was advertised for the most part. I think this would be a good fit for you someone even left a positive review.

Ya know I was looking at that one also for a choice! I will probably give that one a go soon. Thanks very much for your input and for others as well.

I'd suggest trying greenhouse seeds or barneys farm!
Nothing but weak sauce imo

LSD ?
Red Dragon?
Critical Kush?
Blue Cheese?

these tested very potent when I grew them and were a pleasure for us. sorry you missed these.
but from barney.......those four are about it for me.

Badly grown weed can make you feel really bad. A properly grown high THC strain doesn't necessarily make you go crazy or feel bad.

Can't get a blissful euphoric high without high THC IMO. Lately I've been buying weed because I can't grow my own anymore, haven't enjoyed weed in ages. It's all shit, ALL OF IT.

So what would your recommendations be for my situation? I am looking for a very light calm feeling with very little head high I guess.
I'd recommend something like jillybean from tga or one of their other high terp mid thc strains.

Try to find a balanced THC-to-CBD strain...Not very many of them out there...but a few....It's a lot closer to the "old" weed effect, imo. A lot of the old school weed's THC content was degraded to CBD by the time it came out of the brick.

Also look for strains with a lot of amber trichomes -as opposed to (most) commercial weed -which is usually harvested too early and has mostly clear trichomes -which tends to give users that "racey" anxious feeling sometimes.

Herbie's lists high CBD and THC strains in an organized way. They also list % content of each for many of their strains. There are several that contain equal amounts of each.

Also keep in mind.....marijuana oftentimes enhances what the user is already feeling. So, if you come home from a road rage incident and your adrenaline is pumping and you feel like a wild animal that's about to explode....then smoking some weed probably isn't going to make you feel instantly better. ;) But if you have given yourself some time to not be on the computer or checking your phone, etc. and want to just sit on your back porch, breathing in the fresh air and allowing yourself to become aware of all the great things in life (which is what everyone should try to do everyday!)....then smoking a little weed might just dial-in that joy a little bit "better". -Like when you have a nice stereo and you turn up the bass a bit more than is really intended -and it feels good, man! :)

like "that weed makes me sleepy" -try more than 4 hours of sleep a night aye?
"that weed makes me paranoid"- be paranoid too if I lived like you do

I put a gram of my bud in a few pats of butter once, cooked an egg and ate it. last time I ever eat marijuanas, I felt that 3 days later, not cool for me from beginning to end
