Looking for a strain recommendation

Hello all. Here's my story. I've been growing on and off for some time. I've always used bag seeds because the street ganja i can find is usually pretty decent around here. I've never been to BC or Amsterdam or anywhere that had true strains. Recently a friend went to tahao and came back with some funk like i have never seen. We have no idea what strain it was but it was the first time i have smoked a product of that quality. It has convinced me that "good genetics" is definetly the way to go. When i grew in the past, i took alot of pride in the quality of my crop and i spent a good amount of time cloning to get the best plants i could. I would like to do the same again, starting with a great strain, and clone it for a few years. I only want to grow one varity at a time and i want to pick the right one for me. I don't sell so i am looking for quality over quantity (but quantity is always nice). I grow indoor with a good CFL set up, I LST train my plants, and i've had good luck with my method so far. I prefer a "up high" as i tend to smoke and want to be active (i'm not sure if that means i want indica or sativa). While i do have some experience growing, i want to stay away from a variety that is very difficult to grow. The other trait i am looking for is an interesting plant. As i said, i take alot of pride in my plants and i find marijuana plants to be very beatuiful. Until i recently started investigating different strains, i actually thought all marijuana plants looked the same. As i flipped through several websites on the subject i realized i couldn't have been more wrong. The white strains and plants like blueberry are really interesting to me and if i am going to spend the next few years working with one variety, i would like it to be a strain that isn't a textbook idea of a marijuana plant. So I am open to any and all suggestions and i greatly appreciate all your replys in advance. :joint: bongsmilie :eyesmoke: :bigjoint: :weed: :leaf:

I would say white widow or ak47. They are both all around great! I like blueberry better though. Its harder to grow and doesnt yeild as much but its a great high.

widow maker, I've been reading alot about white russian, a cross between your two suggestions. do you know anything about it and it seems that most people on this site purchase from nirvana. I looked through their catalog and couldn't find white russian or bluberry(i know it can be difficult to grow but i'd love to give it a shot). do you know of a seed bank that might carry both and ship discreetly to the US? thanks again.

I grow LST indoors. I was looking at "northern berry" from peak seeds. Does anyone have any experience with either the strain or peak seeds themselves?
