First time poster here on rollitup, thank you for the opportunity to post my question. I am a total newbie grower, just planning out my grow room now while I wait to get my MMJ license soon.
My grow space is an unfinished walk-in shower that measures approx 3.5' x 4' x 8' height. Trying to keep everything fairly simple, soil grow, 250W HPS for veg/250W MH for flower.
I am looking for some suggestions for a good strain that is
1) Forgiving for a beginner (an easier grow) - maybe auto and/or fem?
2) Looking for something that won't couch me, perhaps more cerebral, I need to stay functional so maybe more of a sativa hybrid?
3) Shorter grow time.
4) The volume is less important to me than the nature of the high.
5) Trying to maximize my chances for a successful first grow, therefore fem, auto whatever it takes.
Any advice is most appreciated. A few I have looked at are lowryder 2 fem, AK47 fem... but there are so many strains! Thanks for any help!
