Looking for the best bud and the best deals.

Hey guys,

As much as I smoke, It's getting expensive playing $250+ oz for flowers all the time. I'm a member at Kind Love and usually get around 2 oz a month. Sometimes I frequent others but have only been to KL pretty much since CAM got shut down, thinking about hitting up Denver Relief or some others in the near future to mix it up.

So I'm asking about 2 things really....

First, and I know this has been asked a hundred times, what do you guys recommended for top notch flowers, specify for Kush strains? Any knowledge as to what shop would have the best quality and best member benefits?

Second, and I guess this is the real question, I've been thinking about going somewhere cheaper for one oz, then somewhere top notch for the other. Keep 2 grades basically. Can anyone recommend where I might find oz's for cheap, be it though member day deals or what have you? Again, leaning toward good Kush strains.

Also, as I type this, I realize I might be better off finding a good private caregiver for my "cheaper" flowers, only thing is I don't really know any caregivers, let alone ones that grow good clean buds.

And last, I know this is a hard one even at the better places but keep in mind that I'd prefer to keep it on the healthy side and not smoke pesticides or sulfur or other chemicals just to save a few bucks.

Are you insinuating dispensaries have better stuff then caregivers? oh boy are you wrong;)

Lol. I know. I love kl too man. I just got an oz from there today fir 240.

I guess I could get the lower tier stuff from there to save money but was thinking there might be better choices around.

Fyi, they are having a super sale on concentrate right now. I got a bunch of 20/g shatter I'm gonna use for edibles.

What do you think of DR btw? And when was the last time you were there? Mine last time was right around when they went rec, and they had been slippin for a while but some stuff was on point. They nake their own iwe now, been wanting to try that but KL had that EE drop so yea, lol

Also. I went by the clinic today to scoop some of their new seeds their bud is the same still but i think they've raised the prices. The stuff in sample jars looks so good but doesn't have the smell so i didn't get any.

I'm not insinuating anything btw. Just lookin for advise.

Show me some private caregiver bud that i can get every month that is terped out and clean and doesn't burn my throat for a good price and I'll buy it regularly. I already said I don't know any.

I have been graciously gifted some wax and flower by 2 members off the board....and I'll tell you what...it will blow the doors off any shop here in the Springs......I need to get hold of a few to get some clones......seems as if my refund is taking forever!!

Hey dude, I dunno if you or anyone else is aware but I'm pretty sure KL has new owners now. The other day kindlove farmer and compassionate hustler(Leif?) both posted on IG about leaving KL. And pretty sure they were the owners.

I'm still getting all my stuff there btw, dropped $500 there 2 days ago. Fixin to start growing all my own and making my own iwe tho, gotta try to save that money.

IF YOU WANT OUTSTANDING QUALITY HERB dont waste your time with 14er, guy in post homebrew keeps trying to boost this shop for quality herb thats a Joke all shops with erb of this quality should be shut down. quality of herb in this store almost had me throwing up in the jars i smelled a descrace to cannabis and real growers who put in the time to do it right dont follow advice from ignorant people who work for this shop if you been to kL youve been to one of the best prices r steap but number of shops with erb of this quality are few, could be better but this is the case with any despencerary.

i suggest backing that up with a strain that botherd you in particular....or name a budtender that was an ass ect...anything that general looks like personal shit. (slander)
i have heard good things about them...

I have to agree with JD, @realog if youre going to shit talk a dispensary have some facts. I know both homebrew and hotsauce personally and they are both stand up guys.

@AlGore, I know you have been around long enough not to listen to a joker like that.

I forgot to post after but I went to 14er after meeting up with @homebrew420 about a month or so ago.

I looked at a lot of their buds. Most were on point, quality and potency were both on the level I'm used to. I wouldn't call it as good as Kind Love but they are falling off currently so yea.

Some strains where not looking so good or the bottom of the jar but that's how it goes and that's why you look at and smell the jars. Also, what you see is what you get, no prepacked bs.

Only gripe is it was a lil pricey but cheaper than KL or DR. Speaking of, I was at DR the other week to get some O-Pens for a trip, they jacked their prices way up since I was there last and the bud fell off as well. They also do their own icewax now(since the fucked over EE) and I asked about it, girl didn't know what I meant when I asked, "How's it melt?", but she was an idiot used to dealing with rec customers so yea.

Dispensaries grow crap weed, best weed comes from skilled organic home growers. All dispensaries cheap out as much as possible to have the largest revenue possible. I suggest you find a caregiver not a dispensary.

That is a damn good question, lol. Also, my response to Yoda below factors in here as well....

And actually, when they were still around, I preferred CAM for the more elite and kush strains, they seemed to specialize in kush and their stuff was so well trimmed, and I liked how their set up was way better, etc.

That said, KL has some really good shit. It really is "oil smokers bud". My fav strain they currently have is the Lee Roy TK. Their pheno taste just like TK to me, which is my all time fav strain. Also their ARC has always been very good. On the other end, their Cookie Wreck and Cookies and Cream are both very tasty and they also have some killer Lemon G and Durban.

For the most part I agree with this. A top flight care giver or private grower, all things being equal, will always be better than a dispensary. I've actually posted several times here and elsewhere trying to find or get hooked up with a truly top flight grower.

However, when you are talking variety, price, quality, availability, etc for the average patient. Without being super in the know and big into the central Co community(I'm not into the Adam Dunn show and all that type of stuff) it's hard to find people and dispensaries often offer the best choice if you can find a good one.

CAM, I felt was very good. It had it's detractors(mostly over the fact it was hydro) but I loved it. And KL has always been super on point. That said, they now have new leadership there and a larger grow, I've noticed some things slipping(ARC was harsh once, jars have more popcorn now, etc).

PS> I'm actually trying to grow all my own now, few months from first harvest still though.

Don't understand the sulfur thing? could you please explain it?
Tis sulfur that feeds the trics and increases potency, I thought most growers knew this?

I'm in Denver, would be happy to smoke one with ya, if ya hit my sig link are they done yet, go to page 2 (or 3) there are several smoke reports from folks that visited :)
