I disagree. There are a LOOOOT of strains that do not have the low temp purpling gene. Anything sativa or sativa dominant will almost certainly NEVER blue/purple up. I think you're confused - it's almost every INDICA that darkens under lower flowering temps.

I said alot. Not all. And please go to Instagram you can 100s of sativa dom plants that are blue or purple.

just one but I want A fully purple strain where the buds will become a dark purp in the right temps
Hmm... I would urge you to make your choice based on effect and quality. Crappy, weak, disappointing highs are very common in purple weed. Blackberry kush was some of the darkest - almost BLACK- purples I've ever seen in person... but the high was pathetic... short duration, weak effect... an hour later and you just feel like you didn't get enough sleep. So beware buying weed based on color. You're setting yourself up for disappointment if youre buying just on color. The point is to get HIGH ;)

And purple haze is sativa dom and purple. Soooo..... any other questions lol. But yes indica and indica dom strains are more apt to be purple or blue or whatever color. But sativas absolutely can be purple.

You said "almost any", to be precise. That is FALSE. You CANNOT darken almost any strain. If you think so, then you obviously have zero/next to zero experience with sativas.

Sorry you've had shitty purple weed. But that's no reason to get on here and blast wrong info. Bc a simple Google search will show you top notch gear that's sativa dom and purple or black. And other colors. And star pupil is a great strain. I've smoked it. It has an afgahni high. That lasted for a goid long while

My c99 (mostly sativa) purped up on me with some cold temps. Not a whole bunch but unmistakably purple, there was even some inside the nug. I think most plants will get a good shade of something when it gets cooler. Picture_20163609083655.jpg

It seems that while my indicas are more prone to purpling, most of my sativas do it too, albeit to a lesser extent.

Also when they do purple, I would say that on average they usually become more of a maroon/purple color, not quite as vibrant as the indicas.

Kind of like this.WP_20151027_14_43_22_Pro.jpg WP_20151027_12_07_51_Pro.jpg WP_20151027_11_49_22_Pro.jpg

How's it a pure sativa hybrid, when purple haze isn't a pure sativa?

Purple Haze

Sativa 85 / Indica 15
Origins: Purple Thai x Haze
Harvest: late October

The name of this now infamous sativa strain is well known to smokers and non-smokers alike, popularized both by its magnificent qualities and the not so surprising embrace by the Hippie subculture of the 60’s and 70’s. Purple Haze is truly one of the classic strains, its buds full of color and flavor, and always a pleasure to smoke.

True to its Sativa genetics, Purple Haze likes to stretch out into a tall plant, covered with dark green leaves and purple buds. While not tall enough to “kiss the sky”, plants are statuesque and beautiful, with long, running buds that possess pleasing density and a sticky coating of trichomes.

When grown outdors, Purple Haze can be harvested at the end of October, yielding about 350g per plant. Some growers delay the harvest to allow colder weather to bring out even more purple. When grown indoors, Purple Haze has a 65 day flowering period, and can yield 400-500 grams of tasty purple buds per square meter.

Purple Haze is an extremely smooth and tasty smoke, combining the sativa qualities of the Haze with the color, smell, and taste added by the Purple genetics. The high is clear headed, uplifting, and euphoric.

Sativa Dominant Hybrid - 85% Sativa / 15% Indica

THC: 26%

Purple Haze is a sativa dominant hybrid (85% sativa/15% indica) strain that is a potent cross between the rare yet popular Purple Thai X Haze strains. This dank bud boasts a THC level ranging from 14-19% on average and an array of sativa and indica effects. Purple Haze was named after Jimi Hendrix's classic 1967 song and is one of the most famous strains ever thanks to its popularity in the 1960s. Users describe the Purple Haze high as one with almost immediate high-energy cerebral stimulation accompanied by an intense sense of creative inspiration and blissful contentment. You may experience a mild body buzz that is warming and spreads from your head and neck throughout the rest of your body. Due to these potent effects, Purple Haze in ideal strain for treating patients suffering from conditions such as fatigue, mild to moderate cases of depression, and chronic stress or anxiety. Purple Haze has long, dense pepper-shaped nugs that are light minty green with rich purple undertones. These nugs are covered in long thin light and dark purple hairs and a fine layer of milky white trichomes and sweet sticky resin. Purple Haze has a sweet earthy berry aroma and a pungent berry taste with a hint of spice.

Docs Dank Seeds has a strain called TPR (Triple Purple Rhino) that puts out purple buds, I don't think I've seen one that didn't go purple. Have one on the go now, the purple grows from the inside of the buds out, not just some purple tint at the end, purple through and through.

TPR early in flowering, just starting to purple from the inside out:
