Looking to upgrade from my dual Platinum P300 set up..

    Hi everyone...I am close to completing my 3rd grow. It is in a vented mylar lined closet with a pair of Platinum P300 LED's and a GR8 Red Flowering light. I have had decent results but was unaware of COB type systems when I purchased everything a year ago. I am looking for a lighting recommendation for a 4' x 6' space that will be used for vegging only. My P300 LEDs will be in the flowering room. I am very handy with tools, soldering, etc...so assembling something would be a breeze. I am hoping that someone can make a recommendation for my 4'x6' space. I am hoping to have 8 plants vegging at all times. Thanks in advance...

    Sorry mate... You should talk to @CobKits for diy components. That will definitely be the cheapest way. For vegging only you would want to get 5000k or 6500k COB's. He will probably have some good suggestions for the amount of COB's you need for your space, and which drivers to use. As i understand it, Citizen COB's and the new Vero's are cheaper than Cree, and with similar or better efficiency

    Just a thought I had. Why not put the plats in veg and build a real flower light or buy a timber to flower under?

    Dont blame me. He claims to pull 2g/W and even 2.5g/W with that low efficiency panel.
