Lowryder 2, first ever grow :D

Ok guys so this is my first ever grow, its just simply one lowrdyer 2. Just got it in a cupboard under a normal CFL lightsaver bulb, only 11w at the moment, but will be getting a 25-30w bulb by tonight. Apart from that, soil im using is from a plot nearby, seems to be doing well, am just over 2 weeks into the grow ( day 19 to be exact). To water it im using water with a small amount of miracle-grow in it, ( 24-8-16 ). tell me how u tink its doing :). The first pic of it in the cupboard is a couple of days earleir that the rest, just an idea of what its growing in. ( i will be moving it out of that in a few days though and putting it in a proper sized grow box as its getting too tall now.)

Low rider is a very nice strain. People seem to like it around here.
Hey are you monitoring your ph? Ph is crucial to plant success. Especially when adding nutes, those nutrients will lower the ph of your water.
You can get a cheap chemical solutin that is also pretty accurate. Mine cost me $7 and has lasted almost a year.
Good luck, happy growing

hey thanks guys, and yer dw that is my mission for the day, to move this baby to a bigger grow box and get a second more powerful light on it. :D. wana get th biggest yield possible out of this girl ( well i hope it is a girl :P, feminised seeds so im keeping my fingers crossed) does anyone recomend any other nutrients etc ( such as mircal grow) which would help boost the plants yield?

ah that is somthing i am not doing, i shall get something to monitor the PH asap, if adding nutes lowers my ph of my water, what is a good way of getting their ph back to normal, also is neutral considered normal, around the 7 mark?

Hey man here is a picture of the ph test kit I use, and also the ph up/down I have.
You can order them online if you do not have a local hydro shop
Good Luck
hey dude thanks for the pics :). I tried to go get a tester kit at b&q 2 days ago but they said they couldnt sell it to me cos they had discontinued it ( even though they had it on the shelf. hmmmmmm. wt fools.) But im back home atm and i have a hydro shop nearby me which i am going to pop into today to pick one up, but thanks for the pics :D

ok guys, got my ph tester, but unfortunetly its only a liquid one, not a specific soil tester. Should i just go bout testing the ph by taking a small sample of soil, mixing it with some water that im using and add the solution to see where its at in terms of ph?
