LP days are numbered

As usual.
They are just trying to MAKE THEIR OWN so they can call it THEIRS and Make billions off of it.

Leaving THC and Herb the way it is would be stupid...You can't make money off of it the way it is. (sarcasm) because you CANNOT OWN IT!!! :)

Please...

Jump in ladies and gentleman, im on the highway to hell with the LPs. I hate the LP model of helping patients.

Soon and believe me, soon. There is going to be a "monsanto" jump into this industry and it will be bad for everyone.

they're already well ahead in that regard. If you think the biggest business since sliced bread isn't going to be part of theirs?...we'd all be sadly mistaken!!

UNLESS WE FIGHT and FIGHT HARD!!!

It's worth the fight people!

:)

They could destroy and/or mutate and/or patent marijuana if they wanted to and there is nothing we can do about it. If they can patent corn and wheat then hemp is on the way onto the product list. At the end of the day its actually scary what a company can do with that kind of power.

Rare Dankness Genetics recently broke off their relationship with RiverRock Wellness(one of the larger dispenseries in the Denver area from what I've read) This was due to the fact that RiverRock has hired a former Monsanto employee of 30+ years.

Monsanto will fail one day. Hopefully sooner than later before they fuck up all plant life for good.
It should be illegal to do what they are doing. You can't do it to humans. It shouldn't be any different for plants or animals.
They'll probably call me a P.E.T.A. file for that though

Monsanto wil own the world one day with their thinking...The friggin jet stream will carry their pollen around the globe.... and I'm sure they will try and collect saying... " HEY! You're GROWING MY HERB MAN...! "

I'd be like...So I am.... lmao

I can't believe they've been able to convince courts to find in their favor this far. Their thinking is ludicrous. Just backwards!!
I guess money does talk and well... we all know the rest.. :cuss:

Thats a good tidbit to know but also worrying.

For the people that dont know, monsanto patents seeds and genetics in other words they patent the DNA of a plant. Just like gb123 stated, they have the ability to polenate countries. Once they polenate a certain plant it will then bring on the DNA traits of the seed they licensed. If a farm happens to have monsantos DNA in its field, well guess what, you owe monsanto a hefty sum of money.

No worries... The USA has a Patent on THC... Wait and see what happens. They're just letting Monsantoe fight it out for them. When it comes time.
The USA will ask everyone to flip up! Saying... we have THE patent. How do ya like us now?
Wars have been started for less.

Here's the link with Rare Dankness' statement

https://www.rollitup.org/t/rare-dankness-breaking-ties-to-riverrock.836827/

"
Effective immediately Rare Dankness seed will no longer be working with River Rock Wellness or any of its affiliates.

We at a Rare Dankness hold no animosity to the owners/employees or patients of RRW. I believe, that at this time, our companies philosophies and goals are headed on opposite paths.

My goal and hope has always been freedom for this plant. I want to see Cannabis legalized, decriminalized, and just allowed to exist as any other plant exists. Free from oppression, and available to everyone. I'm a grower and my commitment will always be to the grower.

I realized that in order to maintain our course and commitment to this plant will require RD to take fuller control of all aspects of production.

From seed to harvest, breeding and mother facilities and curing time on flowers. It has become an obsession to bring back herb that has been grown to perfection and taken a step beyond perfection with a proper cure and handled with love and respect.

We are now in the process of finalizing the new Rare Dankness Colorado home, which we are very excited about. We will make that announcement in the next few weeks."

Good read CalyxCrusher, alot of complaints from there customers who bought at River Rock Wellness.

@gb123 As far as the USA stands i feel it will go 1 of 2 ways and this is souly my opinion,

1) The federal government trumps all state laws and medical marijuana turns illegal, the only industry that has the same capacity and turns the federal government massive amounts of money is the private prison system. The USA has 5% of the world population yet counts for 25% of inmates in the world. If i remember the facts rite, 94-96% of people in jail or have been to jail is from drugs, abvisouly a huge percentage contributed by mary jane herself.

2) The federal government jumps on board like the states are and charge huge amounts of tax, patents THC and creates another revenue stream.

Thats my opinion and history tends to repeat itself...no different then alcohol. What else was on store shelfs back then, heroin? wont see it legal in my time.

Heroin is legal in Canada. Has been for a while now. For medical purposes though. :)
It used to be illegal for patients but it's the best pain meds there be ;)

Monsanto is yesterday's news. A lot of weeds are becoming immune to round-up and as a result the round-up ready crops are failing.

Enter Dow Chemical, and their agent orange(esque) resistant seeds. This is the next mega-corp in line at the trough....
