My tap is 8.4ph and 400 ppm. I ro to 15ppm and add back with the rejection water to ~100ppm, then fertilize and ph to a target ph. All the soil I can buy runs acidic so I compensate.

I consider the run off ph to be the most important measurement and I will always compensate to get it to 6.5. I'll even take a huge swing at it if need be.

I see there are some difference like vermi-compost added and blood meal and guanos omitted.
IS that the only differences?

Both bars of CXM cobs built and in tent now

12 cobs at 700ma so around 450 watts, but my Killa-Watt meter burned out so it isnt actually measured yet. Likely under that with the 22AWG wire I used.

Fans move some air around the heatsinks, but their real job is as canopy fans.

That's a huge difference, he uses malted grains now as a topdress like a SST would work
No bone meal but fish bone lotsa ocean amendments

Amendments with multiple things in it as opposed to abundance is single one.
Makes sense to me, instead of high P guano more sources of moderate P that have other things as well.

Just got my 12 cxm in...think im gonna drive em soft . What driver you using ??

I found some deals on ebay and bought these one by one.
Not as efficient as the mean wells, but $60 for them all shipped, and all rated the same 700ma 210V max output and 150 watts
And I am using one of these to run my fans since they arent being used right now, and I can adjust the speed, also the intake fan is the same as the fans in the lights

I think you could run up to 4 w/that driver - wired parallel. Stil looking for the perfect driver for my 12 cxm22 . If @CobKits gets some more cobs in before i decide, i'll probably get 4 more & run 16 in half of my 4x8 tent. I was looking at that driver but i would need 4 of them . Would really like two 320h 54......

Either will work, but more power with the 2 185s. It just depends on how hard you want/ned to drive them.

I agree that power would be better on 4, not that they cant take power, but better spread and efficiency with more cobs.

Im sure he will have more in soon.
16 in half the 4x8 area sounds great!

I plan to buy (2) 320 watt MW drivers, but right now these generic drivers are working.
They do get very hot and are likely not nearly as efficient though.

Yeah im kinda waitin on cobkits to restock. I have a 600 w hps in there now so i can be patient. @CobKits gives good info and a positive vibe. Besides, i was born in Cali and am a small business owner ( licensed contractor) . Plus he gives more than fair deals. Thats where id like my money to go!!

Are you gonna put drivers inside tent/grow space or outside?
I have drivers inside one tent with 12 cobs and this one outside and I have trouble keeping a this 2x4 warm with 400+ watts/

Cob kits doe have good prices

If anyone wants some of the heatsinks I use (8"x8"x1 3/16") pm me

i think you mean the constant current drivers. the constant voltage can run anywhere from 2 to 20+cobs
