M hostilis tea?

Looking for experiences with a simple tea. I transplanted my 2-3 yo hostilis tree today from a five gal to a 15 gal and harvested the rootball.

Its sitting in the sink drying at the moment.

I would have guessed the nexus has my answers but not much.

Or has anyone done an extract from a sustainable harvested root ball?

I tried a few months ago but used a pretty old harvest. I assume the alk had decomposed which is why I had zero yield but it could also be that the roots weren't mature enough.

Are you wanting an ayahuasca tea type liquid end product or are you trying for a more sophisticated extraction

Found some advice at the nexus.

1) Put some mimosa in a small jar.
- Poor some cold water in it.
- Shake it up a few times throughout the day.
- Let it sit for a few days.
- 3-5 days seems enough for most of the mimosa to stick to the bottom of the jar, so it will be easy to filter. Poor out
- you can repeat another cwe pull, or boil it from there

2) same as any mimosa. 1g maybe for significant mimosa effects. 5g will be strong

3) The theory is that mimosa contains its own b. carbolines, so you'll probably be intaking more rima's by drinking a cwe

4) maybe a little less

5) it's more sedating. The extra alkaloids seem to have a pain killing and sedating effect.

6) maybe a bit longer than regular boiled aya due to the extra alkaloids in cwe mimosa. But no, it doesn't last 24 hours. 4-8 hours.

I wana try aya badley
Grow you some! I told myself I wouldn't do natural psychedelics unless I grew them and harvested them. Good karma for the journey. So, if my plant isn't ready to take me, Im not ready to go. Lol

That being said, I wonder what ayahuasca likes

I have some cubes fruiting right now Lol. Then a dozen brf cakes spawning at various speeds. Im a novice mushroom grower. I also germed shiitake on WBS and transferred the mycelium into a bakers dozen of BRF/bamboo cakes. Totally experimental but grain to grain is incredibly easy if your ducks are in a row. Ill try oak/brf in a few weeks. If that goes well for shiitake I would LOVE to grow some wavy cap cyanescens

Being the gardener farmer type, my mushies guy wanted to seek my help devising an outdoors patch at various rental properties. I think he just need help picking a spot. Tall 1' grass in constant shade. Cut a sqsquare of it the size you want to find mushrooms in. Carefully lift it out. Dig the hole deeper, fill with composted manure, coir, popcorn or wbs spawn, then lay the grass square back over top.

Follow a BRF tek and a SGFC tek.
That's brown rice flour for spawn, then shotgun fruiting chamber for getting shroomies. Its fucking fascinating. They grow so fast. Like one of those pinecone autoflowers that takes 60 days to harvest. ...cept its 30-40 days

Nowhere near, but I can expect 7-14 grams dry per flush and three or four flushes per pint cake. Yields tend to decline per flush. This is my first flush so Im going off the numbers my obe wan gave me. ill post a pic tomorrow

Brf has got a better success rate than that of a monotub but if you got the hang of monotub you could get toward a qp+ per flush I think...

I thought about getting spore syringe and shooting up cow pattys i wonder if it would work
Place it in the grass growing in the shade. I think you could but if recommend spawning a cake then doing a bunch of grain to grain transfers to multiply your cake, THEN experiment with unproven techniques. I wasted a fair amount experimenting with spore syringes outdoors. I managed to get plenty of mycelium numerous times but never could keep up with them long enough to fruit.

Depends on quality of root bark and environment grown in and age of tree at harvest. Most root bark used for aya is from old trees, like huge trees and there usually from south America the perfect invirement. And it's not the whole root used but the outer skin/bark of the root. For mimosas only trips I've read on the nexus it takes higher doses than if taken with Rue or caapi and it's shorter and different.. And a light boil with vinegar or lime juice with multiple pulls is more potent. And you could do it in a few hours compared to days with boiling water.

Thanks,
It's looking like the root ball isn't hardly worth my while. The soak isn't purpling the water any. Ill have to care for this tree for a few more years. I put an order in for 25 Brazilian banisteriopsis caapi seeds. 25 Brazilian is how many? Lol

Hey caapi is my favorite enthogen. But there hard to start as seeds. In the right client they grow 8ft a year! Buy some cuttings from Hawaii I'm going to next month. Were you from?

Sub tropical environment is as detailed as I can say Lol. The weather peaks around 110F in the summer and lows of 29F in the winter. I purchased 25 seeds so I will try a few times at germinating. I figured I should use a warmed pot of soil or warmed damp paper towel. The photo in the item listing showed many seeds germinated with no soil. This was inspiring enough for me to buy from this seller.
