Macro/Micro Photography of trichome with DSLR

Hello RIU,

I do some photography with my dslr since 8 years, and i grow weed since 10 years , this passion come when i start to look trichome for know when i need to harvest the plant, i start with cheap microscope, and after buy my first dslr, 8 years ago, i'm not a professional and every thing i learn on internet, on forum, and with experience. I'm a lot inspired by Professor P of dynasty genetics, by Doobie Duck, by Bubbleman , by Erik of Nugshots and a lot more !

I want to create this thread for share my photography with all of you, for exchange some information about photography technique, material and how improve the quality and everything. I invite all of you to share too your trichome photography with dslr !!

Actually i use some nikon d7200, nikkor 85 mm macro lens (1:1), venus 60 mm macro lens (2:1), a classic 18/105 mm nikon lens, extension tube of 68 mm, a speed light sbr 200 nikon for high magnificence , 3 light spot, a remote for control the dslr without touch then when i shoot. I use some tripod with a macro rail velbon mag that is good for 1:1 magnificence but i need a motorized rail for more magnificence, i will have soon for better deep of field.

Fantastic micro shots!! I'm almost buzzing just by observing the half clear half haze ones. Again, they look good to gorgeous. A good flush and hang and heaven awaits. LOL.

Beautiful trich shots. I have been meaning to do a shoot using "focus stacking". It allows you to take a series of razor sharp images. While adjusting depth of field for each shot. Then combine all pics with software for one super razor sharp pic. You got the equipment for it. Lightroom user?

@Jaybodankly Thanks you man ! I all ready try that technique, i wait for a new motorized stacking rail from we macro, now i have magnificence of 4:1 and 5:1 so the depth of field is soooooo small

I will use serene stacker for combine the shoot, i use sometime lightroom's but i do all with photoshop and camera raw for adjust all the settings
