I have 4 plants; 6 weeks into flower. Two of the four plants have developed buds that are twice as big as the other two. Oddly, it is one of each strain. It is possible that I mixed the seeds, but I honestly feel like I have it correct.
The two plants that have huge colas are starting to lose the top fan leaves. Looks like a Mag def...spotty dark brown and yellowing fan leaves at the top. Sorry, picture is with the HPS light on, harder to see. The fan leaves with the smaller buds are extra healthy. All four plants have gotten the same soil and watering. Pictures show one set of healthy/smaller buds and another with way more pistils/bud but has burnt out fan leaves.
My question, are the buds eating up the resource for the fan leaves and should I add more Cal/Mag? Or is it cannibalizing the plant like that okay? Or, could it be a pH issue that I'm not diagnosing and locking out the mag?
