Main cola leaves turning yellowing and dying?

Hi Guys,

I’m new to growing, and I’ve stumbled across a problem that I’m keen to know the solution for. I think I’ve pretty much ruled out all the common reasons for leaves yellowing... I gave it a week without nutrients and it looked like it got slightly worse, and then gave it slightly more nutrients after 2 weeks and it definitely got worse.
I’m growing outdoors, from seeds that come from a mate (he’s been growing the same strain for years with no problems). It’s in a 39L pot and I had a tray underneath that I have a feeling might have been collecting too much water. But I’ve let the pot completely dry out before watering again. The plant is mid bloom at the moment, which you will likely be able to see from the photos. The fertiliser I’ve been using has a 8-2-10 ratio, but I’ve been supplementing the potassium with slow release to bump it up. I’m fairly sure the plant is a pure sativa as well. I’ve also been giving it dynamic lifter for the trace elements. I’ve been using rain water, so the ph should be relatively balanced.
The plant seems to be slightly lighter green than my other plants... but majority of the plant looks healthy with no nutrient burn anywhere else
Could this be root rot ??
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks everyone
