I'm new to growing, and I've had a hard time getting seeds. I bought seeds online, they were expensive n all female. One of the plants was a White Widow, Indica that I wanted more of, so using advise I got from a friend here on RIU, I bought some collodial silver and started spraying it on the bottom limbs. After spraying three times a day for eleven days and stopped spraying because I started seeing a weird burn on the leaves. My plant was two weeks into flower when I started, that was a week n a half ago, and yesterday, I noticed pollen ball sacks on the lower limbs.
Yes learned how to clone my plants, but I prefer growing from seeds.
You can find collodial silver at vitamin stores near you. The bottle I bought was 10% and it worked just fine.
PS, don't smoke what you spray.

You might want to start spraying the targeted plant at the selected nodes just BEFORE and during flower. It can make a difference.

Also be sure to have the plant(s) which will receive the male pollen you make at a receptive stage of flower, not too early not too late. Good luck. You can do this.

You wouldn't happen to know when that is would you? Cuz I'm clueless.

$5-$10 a seed including shipping isn't "expensive" considering what you get in return and the quality and variety you can get. As for buying "all female", almost all seed stores sell normal non-feminized seeds also if you want some males.

Not that there is anything wrong with your advice. If you want to grow feminized seeds yourself, there is nothing wrong with that.

As for when to pollinate, you can do it while the buds are still young and small whenever there are the white hairs sticking out. You just don't want to do it too late because it does take some time for the seeds to mature.

Personally I like seed's but they take too long. Clones are my friend.
Shops have bottom of the jar for sale. You can bag seeds (<--see what I did) like that too real cheap. If you don't mind the guessing game.

That's strange, I sprayed both plants with collodial silver for ten days n one has nanners n the other has balls. Either way it works for me. I have learned how to clone but I like seeds.

It's pretty cool watching it happen and nanners and balls growing.

I'll never buy seeds again. It doesn't matter what they cost. I'd rather keep that money in my pocket. I bought a whole bunch of seeds of different strains awhile back. I'll use what I have to make my own crosses. I've already started.

No need to pay for seeds when you can make more than you can grow yourself. I've been unimpressed with a majority of seeds I've bought and grown over the years. I can and have made crosses that people raved about and begged me for clones of after smoking some of the end result. Unfortunately it doesn't matter how good the strain is if the grower doesn't know what they're doing they will never achieve the maximum result. The seed companies have become similar to the nutrient companies with their marketing. People are paying $10 for a seed only to grow a crappy plant because they don't know what they're doing. A good grower can take almost any seed and get excellent results.
Some of the seeds I have that I bought are regulars and land races so that I have as close to a blank canvas as I can. I'm doing a four plant sativa grow after what I currently have in veg is done. It will consist of Acapulco Gold, Columbian Gold, Panama, and Thai. I plan on crossing each with Chitral Kush which is a pure Indica.
Get a few land race strains of both indica's and sativa's and make your own hybrids and crosses. You'll have all the seeds you need and weed as good as anything you could grow from paying $10 a seed.

Thats BAD ASS bro i was reading online looking up ways to make feminized seeds and came across your post and my hat goes off to you sir i will make my own seeds from now on... thank you

I can totally relate to that. Right now I've got a White Widow budding n a Mexican Sativa that's budding, and I'm sprinkling White Widow pollen on them both.

Theres a thread on here called A GUIDE TO COLLIDAL SILVER is fairly old , but very extensive , a great read for those interested in producing seed

& don't waste ya pollen , U can freeze it , also a good way to spread pollen is with a small brush & sorta paint the flowers

Got it, I appreciate the help. A few of the sacks burst, which makes me excited. I took a cotton swab n dabbed it on both my White Widow and my Mexican Sativa. I will put my seeds to good use in a sog.

Thanks, I appreciate that I can help. I got the instructions for this from a friend here on RIU. Just remember, don't smoke what you spray, and I used a collodial silver that only %10, so you really don't need %30 or %50. The %10 worked great.

Thank you for that tip bro am glad to know its not healthy to smoke the sprayed buds. also im very greatful for growers & breeders like u for droppin knowledge on here wish i knew about this site years ago...Good luck and happy/good growing 2 you stay blessed with bomb ass cuts

Yes that will happen, it called SELFING ,but you wont get many seeds , because the flower is to advanced
The pollen sacks take about 5 weeks to mature, so the untreated section of the plant , produce flowers as normal
The best time to pollinate a bud is about the 2nd week, to get heaps of seeds , so either store pollen, or have another plant a month behind
